McGrowl Towel

I was going through old boxes from college and I found a McGrowl Towel.

Does anyone else remember these towels and what year they were handed out?

I can remember them being handed out before the football games one year, but for the life of me, I can't remember what year they came out. 

They have to be the cheesiest things I have ever seen.

They did it at the 93 ISU game on ESPN (it was really warm).

Mark me down as another guy with one stuck back in a closet somewhere.  I was thinking that the McGrowl Towels were from sometime between '95-'97, but I could be wrong.

Thanks,  I would have not guessed the ISU ESPN game.  For some reason, I thought it was later like Chad May's second season.

The ISU ESPN game brings back memories.  Thank God for special teams.  For anyone that said Dylan Mier was the worse K-State quarterback ever, they never saw Jason Smargisso play.  I'm not saying Dylan Mier is good in fact I think he is awful, but Smargiasso was worse.

I have one from the 93 Mizzou game.

Andre Coleman had a long TD.

I ran to the endzone for the extra point and got a hand on the ball.

Did them about once a year in that era I think.  I have 2 I use as hand towels in my bathroom from '98.

I have one as well, and the mizzou game in 93 sounds familiar, may have been when I got mine too.
