Mangino never allowed Pick to do much other than run QB draws. It's hard to have success when the defense is keying on the run the whole time. Kerry Meier was a solid QB as well. My opinion is that a QB who protected the ball and limited mistakes would have been more successful in games like Texas Tech, K-State, Oklahoma, etc, over Todd Reesing (who fumbled and threw way too many INT's at crucial times last season).
