The question really is, why would Coffman stay?  If Gregory had all that and still beat him out, is it even possible for him to beat out anyone?

Hmmmm, seems like some elite KatPak'r I know may have notified this board of said shoulder injury prior to the season starting.....

Only Kansas State's coaches and trainers, a few of his teammates and Gregory's family and KatPak insiders knew about the right shoulder injury. Only his family realized the extreme pain Gregory went through on a daily basis.

That was a "dream season" for him?  What a loser.

After working his ass off for 5 years, I'm sure he was very, very happy to finally be a starting D1 QB.  Not exactly sure how you feel the guy is a loser.

Was it a dream season for KSU football? No.  But for a guy to finally be able to start, contribute to winning games, and have a chance to win the Big 12 N up until the last game, yeah I would say that would be a dream season for him. Hell, after riding the bench for 5 years, being able to start and win 1 game would have probably been a dream season.

Starting QB on a team that was 60 minutes away from a North title compared to getting destroyed for the majority of 2008, that is pretty much a dream season.

Bringing his team to the verge of a berth in the conference championship game, all while playing the entire season with a torn labrum makes the guy a loser?  A bigger loser than some guy that sits at his computer and talks crap about anything and everything related to the athletic program of the university he is supposedly a fan of? You're very possibly the worst fan of any college in the entire country.  Seriously, there are tons of hardcore uk fans that are more EMAW than you.

No, calling it a dream season is what makes him a loser.  Winners hate losing, and losers have dreams about "being on the verge of a bowl berth".

we weren't 60 minutes away from sh*t.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I can't find a single instance of Gregory, himself, referring to it as a dream season.  The author calls it that, but not Grant.  I did read about him not missing a single practice even though he had a dislocated shoulder and a torn labrum, however.  Dude played his &@#%ing heart out for EMAW State University.  He is anything but a loser.

He hurt the team by playing hurt.  He flat out sucked this year.

Loser? Nah - dude is a gamer. Coffman? Worthless. If you have a gimpy dude who knows NOTHING about the "system" start over you and you have had your head stuck in the playbook for some months prior to GG arriving, YOU are on borrowed time here. But OBz likes his pops and thinks he's a hard worker... blah blah blah  :jerkoff:

If our defense had the heart of GG, they would be top 10 easy.

This is stupid, was still starting over Coffman even with two bad wings.  The only way he could have hurt the team worse is to not start and let Coffman play.

You are right about this though.

Gregory is a flat out badass!  Michy-who pissed in your cherios?  One dislocated shoulder and the other one all but destroyed and he started and competed well in one of the top conferences in the country! Some people just want to bitch.  I have a ton of respect for the guy, and I would love to have employees who had his work ethic and commitment.  I'd be willing to bet that everyone here has missed work more than a few times with an illness or an injury--except for Michy, who apparently eats beans and nails for breakfast and roofs houses with his ass every afternoon.

I just don't think he deserves to be commended.  He's an idiot, and really didn't do sh*t for us, and could have damaged his shoulder for life if he didn't already.  Sorry if I don't think he deserves a banner in his Jardine apartment for "almost making a bowl game w/ a bum shoulder" next to his "slightly better than Coffman" banner.

Also, Snyder and the team doctors should also be ashamed of themselves for allowing him to play.  If you don't think they should be ashamed, then what Gregory did wasn't really all that impressive.

He was better than anyone else we had despite the injuries. If he decided the pain was too much or the doctors didn't let him play we probably lose 2 or 3 more games.

Rusted, if you ever go to a k-state football (ver. unlikely) game can you wear a shirt that says "I am michigancat" so Gregory can take a break from his grad assistant job to pound your teeth through your throat
