I think that the last two days of we-could-get-Harbaugh! qualify as the single greatest run in ku football history.  Well said, BMW.

Nice run y'all had.

 :woot:

Ok, so I'm glad that all of us, including BMW, have now come to the conclusion that ku football is a joke...

Now you Hawks will know how it felt to have Ron Prince as head coach for three seasons.

And quick question, why didn't you guys hire Tubberville? :ugh:

Oh, and BMW....who are you guys going to try to land from Gill's recruiting class @ UB?

Maybe the 2* QB to replace Jacoby Walker?

One of the best parts of hiring a new coach is seeing if you can get any of their top recruits at their old school to your school. Maybe go after that 3* WR that only has an offer from Buffalo? Sorry you guys can't take part in this fun tradition after hiring a new head coach.... :billypopcorn:

Gill doesn't scare me at all as a coach, but I do think the guy will be a pretty solid recruiter given his ties to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

I think it's an outstanding hire.  Turner Gill will probably have some growing pains his first few years, but he will be competitive in a very short period of time.  But most importantly, he will be an outstanding representative for uk and will help eliminate what has become a toxic climate within that program.

I apologize for ruining the thread.  But got to admit to being pretty conflicted with this hire.  Turner Gill is an inspirational person and am thrilled for him.  Unlike MM, he's not the definition of a garbage human being.  He's going to be an excellent recruiter...immediately and I'm glad that it's going to take some time to get the book on teams in this conference.  I know he'll be a better game day coach than Pinkell, but inferior to Snyder.  Also glad that it will be a dagger in the heart of every Nubb fan that wishes they had a respectable coach.

and who the f*ck did snyder bring with him?
According to ku police reports, the fight involved as many as 100 people.
“We’re pretty sure an incident occurred,” said Capt. Schuyler Bailey, ku Public Safety Officer
“We will handle any discipline regarding this incident internally, and we will have no further comment about it.” Perkins
