LOL at nubbfan crying about refs when MANY non-calls stalled our drives in Lincoln. That 2-handed horsecollar right in front of the ref was one of the worst nom-calls I've ever seen.

Oh, and u thought that when the clock is an isue @ the end of a game; its always reviewed.

Tommy the thing about the horse collar is the runner has to be brought down immediately. If the tackler holds on and ride the ball carrier for a couple of yards its not to be called. If they just hold on until someone else hits the its not called either. Go watch the replay of that and see what you conclude.

Because of the kick out of bounds and obvious personal foul, Texas only needed one twenty yard play to get into field goal range.  What a surprising collapse from a group of dudes coached by a genius like Bo!

I just looked at it and the UT dude was definitely tackled by the back of his shoulder pads.

You can't do that. Quit crying.

JFC, how many 15 yarders has Asante racked up this year?  Dude is like the Lawrence Phillips of defensive backfields.

The play is not reviewable.

Totally agree.  Sorry about your luck.  Sucks to be you.
I agree. Can't turn back the hands of time unless you have Texas based Ref's.
final score is final score. Least we knock Mommy Boy Colt out of Hype-mans award.

Your thoughts on Pelini's coaching decision to directional kick?

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
clock errors were 'reviewable' even before there was instant replay

Bookcat I know that was a horse collar tackle against Texas. I was replying to Tommy whining about the no call against you people.

I know it was the poor offense and as well as the kick out of bounds that cost us the game and have said so since the game.

Understandable, but compliments to the refs doing a review and making the right call.  Nubbs are mad, but considering it was reviewed there is not reason to bitch about it.  Also, congrats to TU's kicker.  You are going to get some pussy tonight.
The play is not reviewable.

Wrong-o.  First off what was the ruling on the field?  It looked pretty clear to me in looking at the end situation that the on-filed ruling there was time on the clock.  The referee was immediately getting Nubb off the field...he knew there was time.  The SJ/FJ was running in to apparently tell the R he had time....which would've been appropriate.  It appears to me the ruling on the field was that there was time on the clock.  So the review was a review of that ruling....12-3-5b I think allows for correction of timing on reviewable plays....If the ruling was time had run off then 12-3-6 would allow for correction by replay of "egregious" errors.  Replay confirms the call was correct argument  otherwise is just vapid.

You know Texas would have never got the chance to kick the field goal if they were playing K-State.  Not because of something the football team would have done, but because the K-State fans would have had the goalpost tore down before the review was back from upstairs. :steadymobbin':
