It's not how you play it's the final score...

Not to defend them, but I think it is safe to say, we would be doing the same.

Now, it being a game against Texas, we would not have been in that position.

How can you disagree with that call at the end of the game? There was clearly one second left. The refs made the right call.

Understandable, but compliments to the refs doing a review and making the right call.  Nubbs are mad, but considering it was reviewed there is not reason to bitch about it.  Also, congrats to TU's kicker.  You are going to get some pussy tonight.

This. Its seriously ridiculous and absurd to think the time was out, it was clear as day, just get over it.

About half the people over there are claiming victory.  Really strange.

They should be blaming their loss on their pathetic offense. If their offense was atleast mediocre, then NU would have killed them.

There was obviously one second left on the clock.  You can't even argue that point.  Mack Brown is an idiot and coached a pathetic football game but Texas still won because they are the better team.   They had a freaking time out for god sake if they would have lost that game without getting a fg attempt Brown should have been canned on the spot.  Can't believe NU fans are up in arms they almost got the biggest coaching blunder gift in college football history it's like missing winning the lottery by one number and thinking you somehow got screwed.  IT was always going to take a nearly impossible screw up for TX not to get a FG attempt.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
their argument is the fact that they reviewed it. They are currently scouring the rulebooks seeing if that play is reviewable since nothing there was nothing to overturn.

According to 10/11 news.....T.O. met Bo in the hall after Bo's presser, they both found Beebe the commissioner of the conference. The three went to a office to meet about possibly filing a formal complaint. What good will it do? None, but if T.O. wants to meet than there is something REALLY wrong here.

Wow, you stay classy Huskers....

How about blame your dipcrap coach for having your kicker kick a squib kick when hes been getting good kicks all night, or blame Asante for doing the same thing hes been doing all year and getting a personal foul called on him.

I really love how, due to the kick out of bounds and personal foul, Texas only needed one offensive play to get into field goal range.

Some said last night that, if Sue would have just stopped chasing cowboy Colt the time would have prob ran out because he went brain dead.

An NU win would have been a gift.

jfc, nubbs pr gives them the ball on the 10 and they have to kick a field goal from the 15.  That's the ball game right there.  Try to get more than 100 yds offense in 4 quarters of football mixed in with an occasional 1st down and leave the refs the frack alone...

Texas got screwed earlier in the game with the downed call that clearly wasn't.  That should've been played as an inadvertent whistle.....Nubbins always whining about officiating....calls go all different ways in a game....it doesn't come down to just one.

agreed Nubb fans are still obsessed with the missed face mask call in the 98 game.  Don't mention the TD they were handed in that game on the fumble return for a TD when the Nubb player clearly had his knee down when he picked it up.

The funny thing about this melt down is the refs clearly got it right and they are still complaining about it.

nubb also always forget the clear helmet to helmet spear on Bishop earlier in the game . . . just reconcile yourselves that cornhole always has been, and always will be the whiniest fanbase in the country.   Listening to their postgame shows after a loss when their dive to mediocrity began was pure comedy.

On to the game . . . I am pretty sure that clock issues are reviewable and correctable errors.

Yeah I was rooting for Texas to lose that game like nobody's business, but there was clearly one sec left on the clock. Now whether Nebraska, Kansas or Kansas State would get that second put back on the clock if they were playing Texas and the roles were reversed, I don't know. But it was the right call. Nubb fans kinda need to stfu...this isn't even comparable to the "dollar signs" game.

We couldn't get a second put on the clock with La Lafayette!

I think that is the question most have. If not they should be. It was the right call if it is. And even if it isn't it was still the lack of offense that cost us not the refs.

LOL at nubbfan crying about refs when MANY non-calls stalled our drives in Lincoln. That 2-handed horsecollar right in front of the ref was one of the worst nom-calls I've ever seen.

Oh, and u thought that when the clock is an isue @ the end of a game; its always reviewed.

I agree. Can't turn back the hands of time unless you have Texas based Ref's.
final score is final score. Least we knock Mommy Boy Colt out of Hype-mans award.

Still bitter huh?  Maybe don't kick the ball out of bounds, or cheat with your horse collars, or score a touchdown.  :dunno:
