watched, "the terminal" simply for that reason.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
looks good. Same director as Thank you for Smoking. Should be one of those where you have that great feeling leaving the theater.
I walk out of that tunnel in this building and the passion of our fans, just gets me going. I mean just gives me an adrenaline rush that you guys just don't understand. - Frank Martin

Wow, that chick from 'The Departed' has not aged well. Clooney on the other hand is like a fine wine.

Love loved love 'Thank You for Smoking' and that, is a major reason why I will see this movie. I could do without the romance but at the same time I am sure I will learn something in my rather bland life.

No thanks.

How come Ops?  Really curious for your input here :dunno:

OT: I love movies.

Thank god for actors/actresses and Hollywood in general. They deserve more money imo.

Heard it was a book, may have to go read it then watch it, looks very elite
“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

Probably my favorite movie of the year.  I suppose it will be up against Avatar for Best Picture.  Love all the overhead shots of Wichita, Omaha, KC, etc.  And I'm trying to read the book...but I haven't read a fiction book in like 10 years.

No.

We really need a new PW motion picture thread.  What should we be watching, PoetWarrior?  Is there a "Fountain 2"?  :dunno:

Yes, I enjoyed this also.  When we were watching it, I was all like, "This score is fantastic!", and then I was watching the Golden Globes, and lo and behold, what motion picture won best score?

:gocho:

Yeah, Up.

Yeah, Up.

The opening scene with no talking or anything should have one the best picture award all by itself.

Up in the Air was the definition of "meh."

Should never, ever, ever be compared to Thank You for Smoking, regardless of the director being the same.

Certainty:

Those that love Up in the Air love Lost in Translation.

But feel free to see it, only one way to find out.
