And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

Would be excellent if it was in Mangino's driveway, and he talks of crushing not a dove, but an ostrich.

By all means, get your hopes up. No reason any coach wouldn't leave Stanford and a future NFL No. 1 pick QB to come to loserville.

from what i understand is that stanford would offer 1.3 mil tops and ku will easily offer 2-2.5.  factor in COLA and stanford would have to match  with 5.4 to equal his quality of life in lawrence.  plus his wife is from kc and he loves the kc area.  longshot I agree but we can hope.

Wow, that Powercat chick riding the silver shark is one bizarre pic.

kusports.com posters think they're going to get Tony Dungy as new HC.

Stanford will throw whatever jack Harbaugh wants at him. There is not a chance in hell he leaves NoCal for Larrytown. But you can dream... sometimes I dream that I come to work naked.

That's what Todd Reesing & Kerry Meier do so why would it be any different for Harbaugh? :dunno:

LMAO at anybody who thinks that the quality of life in Lawrence, KS is better than in California.

you moron that is referring to value that you can get living in lawrence vs san fran.

Let's be honest.  Stanford is really just the ku of the west.  I hope he brings his bike helmet.

i ran into Harbaugh at the Gran Falloon a couple years ago on Easter weekend, it was a Saturday night, the place was packed.  my friend is a huge Michigan fan and recognized him.  i bet him $20 that it wasn't him.  it was.    :-[

anyways, his wife's family is from KC, she went to MU.

I chatted with Harbaugh at an IRL race in KC a few years back.  He had some ownership in Panther Racing, as did my employer.

For some stupid reason I always thought of him as one of those undersize/scrappy type QB's...but he's taller than me and I'm 6'2".

Nice guy, despite my cursing him for the Colts playoff victory over the the Chiefs in Arrowhead.

Dear Venzy,
look, you left for OU.  Fine, I get that.  You needed to spread your wings.  But Venzy, jfc, you're way too hot to go to ku.  Way too hot. Don't do this to me.
