By all means, get your hopes up. No reason any coach wouldn't leave Stanford and a future NFL No. 1 pick QB to come to loserville.

from what i understand is that stanford would offer 1.3 mil tops and ku will easily offer 2-2.5.  factor in COLA and stanford would have to match  with 5.4 to equal his quality of life in lawrence.  plus his wife is from kc and he loves the kc area.  longshot I agree but we can hope.

LMAO at anybody who thinks that the quality of life in Lawrence, KS is better than in California.

you moron that is referring to value that you can get living in lawrence vs san fran.

When did we start pinning quality of life on the monetary value of things?  Where have we gone wrong?  :crybaby:  (FWIW, I love the traffic problems I don't have in Kansas.  :woohoo:)

Honestly though...the difference in prices prolly doesn't mean as much when you're pulling in 7 figs annually.

“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”
