I agree - it's at least kind of debateable, though.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I would trade Huggins for a pack of Fruit Stripes gum. That gum is delicious but the flavor only lasts for like 10 seconds. It would still be worth it though.

Actually they do... You can pick some up at some store in Wichita over by the Old town Warren... The place on the east side of the court.... Has a bunch of worthless trinkets and crap.... Don't know what its called, but they have all sorts of candy from back in the day... Even big league chew and candy cigarrettes.

You can get Big League Chew anywhere. I haven't seen Fruit Stripe in..forever.

We used to see who could get an entire pack of Big League chew in their mouth..and actually chew it.

Now a days they make those huge gumballs that are shaped like fruit.  They have a lemon shaped gumball that is damn near actual size of a real lemon.

Yeah, I started choking on it and I thought it was all over for me right there behind that concession stand. When I spit it out it looked like a human brain (in size and texture).
The giant lemon gum intrigues me. Where can one find such gum?

Huggins potential > Snyder potential

Look at what one year of Carmelo Anthony did for Syracuse.  That is our new ceiling with Huggins.

With only 10 players on the court Bill Walker/Michael Beasley is a much bigger deal than soul glo.

That was what made '98 so incredible.  Building a football team into a national title contender is practically impossible for a school outside the elites (USC, ND, Miami, ND, FSU, NU, PSU, OSU, UT.....) in basketball all it takes is a couple of players and a tourney run.

The sport is MUCH more egalitarian in terms of potential for turnaround.  So I agree, but Snyder's potential '98 is untradable for.

All this talk about never returning to national prominence is really really depressing. Maybe we just got lucky and found a gem in Prince? :hope: :frown:
