I think I can speak for both fanbases (ISU and KSU) right now...

ku and Mizzou make us look pathetic right about now. Arrowhead is almost full right now! Get your asses to Arrowhead next year so we don't get showed up by ku and Mizzou again!!

I don't care if you have to  :AA: to get there, or take a tractor, just be there for Farmageddon 2010!!! I hate ku and Mizzou, and I hate being shown up by them. Arrowhead should not be 1/2 empty for a Big 12 Football game.

Dude . . . the thing is, until they moved this "huge" rivalry game to Arrowhead, it rarely if ever sold out when being played on campus.

Iowa State took 40,000 people to Arrowhead Stadium in 2002 against FSU, I really think we could/should get at least 25-30,000 there with the success Paul Rhoads has had this year, and the fact that its the beginning of a tough 3-game road schedule (KSU, @OU, @UT).

Kansas State is barely 100 miles from Arrowhead Stadium, and has a decent winning percentage there. You guys should be able to to get upwards of 40,000 for a game that is basically right down the road. The reason Kansas State is now on maps is coaching the Wildcats again, and deserves your support.

I really want to see this become a big game. Why? Because it's at an NFL Stadium and don't we all love to show up ku and Mizzou??

    The very best.
i hope we keep the game @ arrowhead forever. fun times this year.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I hate ku and Mizzou

Look man, methU is your only rightful rival because of the Telephone Trophy. NCAA Football 2010 on XBox 360 told me so. Quit trying to latch onto Kansas as your rival...we don't claim you  :curse:

We average like 45,000 or something at home games.  Plus, Arrowhead game not part of student package, and that equals a huge dropoff in people.  If both teams were good, then this would be a different conversation.

Will the 2010 ISU football game at Arrowhead be part of the season ticket package?

12:53  it will certainly be an option for season ticket holders- would you prefer it to be included in the season ticket automatically (this would mean a higher season ticket cost)?

Think maybe you're reading this incorrectly.  It appears that this will be an option for season ticket holders.

Plus, coming to the game in KC requires the KSU/ISU fanbases to "drive in the big city", always a daunting task for 90% of our fans...

If you're driving in from the western part of the state, I could see how the extra two hours would suck.  Plus, you'd probably have to get a hotel then and that adds to the cost of an already somewhat expensive day.  That type of thing doesn't bother the college kids or younger professionals, but a lot of our fan base is older and doesn't necessarily have tons of disposable income.  All of this (and much more) combine to make an unattractive game even more unattractive.

We need to scrap the Arrowhead game after next year and start playing ISU the Saturday after thanksgiving in Manhattan and Ames.  That way the game will be in the season ticket packages and both teams can have a buy week.  KSU and ISU are the only two teams in the big 12 without a buy and I think that is a disadvantage to both programs.
