They asked Coach Snyder what he thought of the play on his TV show and he said that he couldn't comment on it without getting fined but that the way it was explained to him it was a 5 yard penalty because they made contact with his kicking foot. If they had made contact with his plant foot it would have been a 15 yard penalty. He said that he hadn't seen the replay so he doesn't know if the call was correct or not. So I went back and watched it and it looks like they unfortunately made the correct call.

Okay. New coaching strategy. On any punting situation with more than 5 yards to go, go like hell to try to knock the crap out of the punter's kicking foot.  Possible good outcomes: blocked punt or take #1 punter out of the game. Negative outcome: None.

RDoer could have done a better acting job imho to draw the 15 yarder. The 5 yarder was the right call..just sayin' we can flop every now and then. its all good

They're implying on 1350 that it was a bad call so I'll believe them. They're also saying that Doerr has a significant knee injury and "hopefully" he'll be ready for the spring.
