Isn't this like the most importanty game in the last 6 years of cat football?  Does anyone else feel like there isn't that much anticipation for the game among emaw's?  I mean, it just hit me that we can go to the freaking Big 12 championship game!  The mother fracking CCG!!

And do you have any idea how much fun bowl games are?  It's like our fanbase has forgotten how amazing bowls are.  I want one so bad!  I would literally cut off one of my fingers (not thumb, most important)

Do we think we have zero chance against nub?  Iowa freaking state beat them!

I just want a bowl game!!  I'm willing to do anything............. :-[

Please snyds.......please  :'(

I think most cat fans are 1) Not expecting to win and 2) Distracted from the ku fiasco to truly get excited for this game.  Indeed it is very important, but if we play like last Saturday we will be spending the holidays at home.

great post. i'm right there with you.

no one expects to win, sadly. it's kind of weird though that we are playing in a such a big game, despite being a horrible team.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Hard to talk trash after witnessing the beating that Missouri just gave us.

It appears that good teams that play well are going to beat us.
Is your life so sad that KSU football isn't enough?

    Hey, basketball!!!
If we would've beaten MU, or just have kept it close I think there would be a ton of discussion about this. But sadly, we kind of fell apart in that game, kind of a quick flashback to the Prince saga.

I'm all in though. :ksu: :steadymobbin': :kstatriot:

sorry Catfans but most Catfans I know are more focused on winning the "Rico" this weekend.

football called, it asked for its older bro Basketball.  Basketball wasn't home though because it was out having sex with hot chicks and partying like only Basketball knows how to party.

 :fatty:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

No one seemed to care.

I guess everyone sees the inevitable, and the inevitable is that EMAW pigskin is nearing its end. And damn it hurts.

You have no idea. I'll be the happiest that I have been since Dec. '03 and you all know what that was.

But then again, if we lose, I'll feel sick to stomach watching our fun season being over and then NU winning the North and heading to Arlington. :blindfold:

Just the fact that we made it to this position is so unbelievable that anything beyond is some kind of dreamworld/fantasyland.   :dancin:

Nebraska is NOT a good team.  Good offense, and showed some offense against wounded duck ku last week.  It's hard for me to see how we lose this game--it comes down to Snyder vs. Pelini.

They have a very good defense.  We can win, but we need turnovers and special teams.

I got too pumped up for the Mizzou game and came crashing to Earth pretty hard last Sat. I then realized the best team we beat this year was ISU, so I am going to settle in this week and watch the game with no expectations and be meh if we lose, and fracking ecstatic if we win :steadymobbin': :kstatriot: :piratecaptain:

Exactly my position.  This team has already exceeded my expectations.  But a win would be really, really cool.

Dang it pufizzle......I've been trying all week to make myself not care about this game. I want to avoid the massive let down if we lose to the Nubbs that would ruin the Turkey Day week.  Now all my emaw is creeping up and by Saturday I'll be bursting at the seams.......

Oh and Cem,   finshing the season 6-6 with two straight losses after being one win away from the North championship and/or a bowl game would be DEVASTATING.  If you'd be ok with that than we may have to question your EMAWness.

What are you talking about? We won probably one game we weren' supposed to. Think of this scenario: we win, we win the north. We lose WE DON'T EVEN BOWL. Has that ever happened? The North is so balanced (bad) this year it's pathetic. I heard Matt Walters mention something about a "dream season" this year, and I nearly spewed my beer. Granted, we won more games than I thought we would, but we're sitting at 6 wins, not exactly a dream season...  JMO

Dudes, Nebraska is NOT a good team.

I have a good feeling about this game. NU is a much better matchup for KSU than MU was. Plain and simple.

He has never been the key to any game nor will he ever be...does he even have ten catches this year??

Lamark might be the 13th most important player on offense...maybe..

LINCOLN, NE. (AP) - A seven-year old boy was at the center of a LANCASTER County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible..

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Also apparently Nebraska Cornhuskers football practice was delayed two hours today after players found an unknown white powdery substance on the field. Bo Pelini immediately suspended practice and notified the police and FBI. After forensic tests, FBI concluded the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed and special agents determined the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again this season.

LMAO might as well give up Nubbs

Not sure if it makes a difference, but last Saturday, I had a funny feeling, from the time I woke up. Something just felt wrong, and it never stopped. Still have it, and I'm ready for it to end, dammit. :-[
