i bet he's from des moines.  seems like a desmoineires would think that some sort of weird shaft of light with a quasi batman shadow makes for a world class city (don't know for sure, never met anyone who admitted to being from des moines).

Manhattan is AA destination beautiful Flint Hills, KS.  in the middle of nowhere kind of like Hawaii or Fiji.

I'd rather drive 30 minutes to Des Moines and have choices about where to fly to rather than only being able to fly into Dallas/Ft. Worth.
