    shame on you, non-believers
His silence either scares or encourages me, and ironically, I need him to break the silence and tell me which it is.

I predict the game to be tied at 31, and Josh Cherry kick a 52 yrd fieldgoal with 5 seconds left on the game clock to win the game 34-31.

This is where I'm at. I think I'm even on record predicting a win, but...yeah, no.

mos def...thanx to super sucky teams, we're way beyond the 3-9 rec I thought we'd have.

I still can't believe aTm, CU and ISU are all worse than ULaLa; would lmao if uofk proves to be as well.  I guess being worse than a team that's worse than ULaLa would be historical.

Wow.  God forbid a team makes dramatic improvement from the first of the year to where we are now with a new coach and system.  Some of you must be still in your diapers because I am shocked by how many of you don't understand how Snyder teams work.   :kstatriot: :kstatriot:

As if I needed a crystal ball to see this one coming.

But, you're probably right.

We shouldn't win. We also shouldn't win the other two remaining games against mu or the nubbs.

There's a reason we're an underdog. We knew going into this season that this team had little Big 12 talent and absolutely no depth. The improvement we've seen, starting with the A&M game, simply got us drunk with hopefulness.

Don't fall for it! We shall be crushed by our disappointment, then have to listen to the media who've been hyping us for the last two weeks suddenly talk about how we choked. Uh, no. While the possibility exists we could win the North, it also exists for ku, mu and nu, all of wohm are more likely to win.

We were not expected to be any good. If we end up going 3-5 in conference play, we will be exactly where we thought we'd be when the season started. (Actually, after the La La game, who'd have thunk we'd be capable of beating Manhattan High?)

Our heads should tell us not to be surprised to finish the last three games 0-3.

Our hearts? Kick ku's ass, boys, kick their mother frackin' ass...

I may be wrong; but I've never felt more confident about a game.   Every game this year I could see KSU losing.... but ku?   OB'z got this one in the fuq'n bag.  :steadymobbin':

    warm up the EMAW
Need Kat Kid's take on the game...

Well I am giddy as a school girl on her first date with the h.s. football captain.  Twinkles in the toes, goosebumps on the neck, falling over myself, gooey on the snyds.

I have placed one bet on emaw, and I'm thinking of doubling down.

I know I will be positively devestated if we lose, I have a ku alum friend who really doesn't care much about football (likes bball much more and is mostly meh on sports or in other words a typical ku alum) and I know that it will completely ruin my weekend if we lose.  I am already getting emaw'd up for it at this point.  I have a running countdown clock in my head.  I'm probably getting Chipotle for dinner tonight so I can fuel up my EMAW engine for hawk pain. :steadymobbin':

I'm feeling myself getting a little out of control, may not double down on the cats, may try to hold back a little just in case, maybe I should just wear my brown with purple trim sweater and black l.l. bean overstuffed vest instead of my emaw outfit I've had laid out since last night.

 :'(

It don't matter. I'll be all around in the dark - I'll be everywhere. Wherever you can look - wherever there's a fight, so hungry people can eat, I'll be there. Wherever there's a hawk beatin' up an emaw, I'll be there. I'll be in the way emaws yell when its third down. I'll be in the way emaws laugh when they're hungry and they know supper's ready, and when the people are eatin' the stuff they raise and winnin' in the houses that Snyds built - I'll be there, too.

Stay gold Snyds, stay gold.

I have no idea, but my hope, my dreams, my heart and my cash is on emaw.

To be in the position we're in we beat Iowa State by blocking an extra point..., an A&M team at home which was kinda fluky, it snowballed on them bad........then a trash Colorado team that hasnt' won on the road in years...followed up by a moral victory vs. OU.

Only using comparitive scoring we still can't tell if we're a good team, or extremely lucky. I think a little of both because Banks wouldn't be #1 in the nation in return yards if it was a fluke...and DThomas wouldn't be ranked in the Top 10 in rushing if we didnt' have an oline that could create holes for him and let him do his thing.

But defensively, we're about where we thought we'd be. The usual letdowns on 3rd down that tears your hair out when you just wanna get the ball back.
