I wanna do one too.

What if KSU and ISU are the only North winners this weekend?

Here's what I would do: Get my vasectomy reversed. Impregnate my wife. Name the baby Bill Snyder no matter the gender. Then 10 years from now, I would order my child to go kick the asses of those two ku named kids, Manning and Reesing, over in Lawrence.

I thought about that earlier and I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibilities. All that needs to happen is Texas and Oklahoma beats MU and ku which is what should happen. Then Iowa St. needs to beat an offensively challenged NU team that might have a first time starter at QB. Iowa St. is riding high after smoking Baylor(see fatty's chills thread) and they are no push over this year. The odds are against them but I wouldn't be completely shocked because NU just can't score.

And obviously, KSU needs to beat Colorado which they are favored to do at home.

The standings would look like this:

1. Kansas State 3-1
2. Iowa State 2-2
3. Colorado 1-2
4. Nebraska 1-2
5. Kansas 1-2
6. Missouri 0-3

At that point, with the tiebreaker held over ISU, the North would truly be KSU's to lose.
Show me defense.

Actually, this would be the result of all the favorites winning outside of NU. It's well within the realm of possibility.

never said this was going to happen. We are playing the what if(see thread title); the only upset that needs to happen is ISU over NU so it's not even a far fetched what if.

Or what if we only lose to OU the rest of the season, go to the Big 12 Championship and upset Colt McCoy and Texas again!!!!

The three biggest preseason favorites would then be in 4th, 5th and 6th, with the three perceived preseason weakest teams in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Would be hilarious.

The big 12 north already is the laughing stock of the nation.  Put these teams in any other division/conference and you have a bunch of bottom feeders.

And vanro, your little heart episode should have been a wakeup call to lay off the Kentucky Gentleman.

No need to play what if's. Just think about how Texas feels looking up at the North standings....

They have to be crapping themselves thinking about having to play their chisholm trail rivals for a shot at the national title.....

It would pretty much show what kind of fruit pie wet wipes populate this board.  Two weeks everyone was on here setting fire to their pubic hair and crying about how "We suck!  We suck!  Old Balls was a mistake!  If only we'd gotten Patterson or a real coach!"  Then, if the above senario happend, you'd be all:  "We're the greatest!  Snyder [I notice 'Old Balls" has become scarce in this board] is Jesus!"

You guys are worse than chicks.  "Come here!  Get away!  Come here!  Get away!"

And you make fun of our fans.  At least when we bail we go all the way.  We don't bail with one foot in the door and then go around pretending we were "right behind this team all along" like you chumps.

Oh, and don't count on the above scenario.  KSU loses to CU.  ku beats OU.  Order is restored.

Snyder is going to beat Colorado, so just get off this board and head back over to the phag.

How does being 1st in the North change that?  We just suck less then everyone else.  I still contend that K-State sux, just so happens that applies to the B12 (north especially and most of the south).

c'mon we now have a QB playing WR and a TE on the D-line, only sucky programs have to fill gaps like that. We were lucky the ISU game didn't go OT and had our clox cleaned by Tek.

So, I guess what you've misunderstood is that we're extactic for where we are given how sucky we are.  I think it's obvious that those programs that were slated to finish higher than ISU & KSU are now realizing they are just as sucky (if not more?).

is it that far fetched to predict that Nebraska just might lay an egg vs. a dangerous Iowa State team? Oh how I hope this happens.!!!

Thoughts become things Haver,   You have to KNOW ISU is going to win.   The universe is listening - are you asking for your dreams to be reality?
