about the headset, I had no idea how much it cost, I thought you said it was $250, guess that was something different. Still....$120 for a headset that doesn't do surround when true 5.1 sets exist for the same or less...

My argument is primarily that PC gaming is better for FPS. Though I'd also say PC gaming is far from dead. The newest gaming software technology has generally always made it's debut on pc. Certain games like what you mentioned, wow, can single handily carry pc gaming. Then you have your STEAMS, your direct 2 drives, etc. The software companies whom develop your console have generally always started making games in the PC mod community.
If you want to talk about the argument, then tell me how playing MW2 is a superior experience on the console... most people would start babbling about there 100" projection screen and there fluffy couch, somehow you've failed to do much more than talk about how important you are irl.
You argument is falling on deaf ears because nowhere for 3 pages has anyone argued that PC gaming is inferior for FPS gaming. And you have yet to give me a good reason why PC gaming isn't dead. Of course WOW will succeed, but one massively popular game for a system is not "carrying" it at all. It's one game in a sea of crap. Bragging about technology is useless without the games to distribute on them. Don't get me wrong, I always have Steam running, but there is absolutely nothing out there I'd buy. Left 4 Dead is the only game this year I've had any interest at all in playing. It's a pathetic community when Counter Strike is still in the top 10 in sales on Steam charts, consistently.

This is true. People are still playing RTCW...more people than are playing the new wolfenstein on pc. According to captain console this makes rtcw or pc gamers somehow lame....I don't really see how this is a bad thing. I dont' see the correlation between a game being bad because people have loved playing for almost 10 years. I guess all those old car collectors, or collectors of anything are totally nooblar lamezorzs.
PC FPS' exclusives.... hrm. The 3 I mentioned earlier....Arma 2, Killing Floor, and Crysis. Arma 2 has more controls than a flight sim. I don't know how they could possibly put that on a console. This last year I've played the following games on pc: CODWAW, Company of Heroes (3 expansions), L4D, Killing Floor, Unreal 3, Call of Juarez, Red Orchestra, HL2 Synergy Coop. I own and still need to play Fallout 3, and Dawn of War 40k....there's a genre that consoles don't fair to well on...RTS. L4D and CODWAW have an infinite amount more of content on pc...and it was all free...
This doesn't mean I don't play the crap out of my console....you'll notice practically all of my machinima vids are console games.
