Don't see another win on the schedule for the beakers.   They're lucky they got that ISU game or it would  have been a winless conference season for them.  I have no doubt ISU was/is the better team but ku upset them that day.  This so called football turn around at ku is the biggest farce of a Ponzi scheme since Benie Madoff.   I"m guessing OU fans will outnumber ku fans in Lawrence next week.  They may want to rethink building that club level seating.

    The very best.
not with that offense.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

KANSAS is thinking about expanding their stadium??? WHAT?????? I had people offering me free tickets to the Iowa State/ Kansas game!!! WTH, Kansas should demolish their endzone because empty seats look worse than ginormous amounts of empty seats.
I'm with Coco!!

elite post.

On tap still for Kansas...its Tech, OU, and Texas. Whoops.

I do think that Reesing and ku's passing attack is one of the more potent lineups in the entire conference...but other than that they have very little else to use as a weapon. They sure as hell can't tackle.

Lastly, has a mangino coached ku EVER layed the wood to a conference team like we did tonight? No.

Colorado got pressure on Reesing numerous times.  CU's defensive front isn't all that great.

Briscoe and Meier save Reesing more than anyone.   He does well under pressure, but he also makes mistakes that doesn't help.  He did that twice tonight that resulted in 10 CU points.

ku's defense is suspect.  If K-State can do a lot more of the play action and throw backs like they did tonight, and our defense can get to Reesing a few times, ku could be a win, since it is in Manhattan.

This collection of teams..

NU, KSU, ku, MU, ISU, CU

are all so pitiful that they are capable of beating any of the others on any given day.

At this point, the stench of suck has reached such a level that we could all just forfeit and maybe draw straws for the top two teams out of our division for their crapty bowl they MAY go to.'

* but we looked pretty sharp tnite didn't we? wink wink nudge nudge

It depends on how much better we get in the next few games.  We win against CU, and can play well againt OU, we probably have a good chance of taking those two out.   I wouldn't mind finishing 2nd or 3rd in the north ahead of ku and MU.. that would be cool..

Well this is true as long as you throw out the time we put up 76 on Nebraska at home.

Good point.  ku will regroup, and don't think that will save them against OU, or at Lubbock or Austin (some bitch slapping will occur in Texas--ouch for the parochial hicks from Lawrence).  I like ku's chances against Nebraska, Mizzou, and us--they still have a good shot.

'Cats?  Hell, we have shots at the Buffs, squawks, and maybe Mizzou.  We could win all 3, could lose all 3.

It's all a toss-up.

If you take out Reesing, ku is nothing. It's a miracle that he hasn't even been hurt once during the past three seasons.

For that matter, Reesing without Briscoe isn't nearly as good. Meier is good and all, but Briscoe seems to make a lot of plays that help him look good.

don't know if it wll be a pounding, but do think ku will beat us by 10; prolly look a lot like '07.  i kind of think last night was fluke-ish for ku (at least offensively).  sprinkles doesn't usually make that many mistakes and briscoe was dropping a lot of balls.  but everyone in the north has shown to be retarded so who knows.  we have a shot at cu if our LB's make tackles.

I completely agree.  I'd like it if KSU would turn about half of the upper deck into suites.  Make the tix tougher to get (increase demand) and still make more money with the suites.

Reesing's two turnovers were the difference in the game yesterday.  Colorado started two possessions inside the ku five-yard line.  Yeah, the guy makes some great plays as well, but he's not irreplaceable.

Do you think his hardcore boozing in the offseason caught up with him up there in the altitude?

I'd argue that the TWO biggest plays were the two that Briscoe didn't make.  Though, I still agree with you that Briscoe is head and shoulders above Lamark thus far.

ku has some pretty good young talent at QB.  Reesing is a very good system QB, but he's not irreplaceable.  Deny it all you want... I really don't care at this point.  The K-State fans I've talked to would love to have a QB like Kale Pick running their offense this season.

The ku fans I've talked to insist that kale pick is an outright disaster.

We would settle for just about anyone at QB
