this is just priceless sh*t.

Quote
We put ourselves in a terrible position, but the refs did cost us the game.

Quote
We played like crap ad everyone knows that. However, even if we did they refs should not decide the game
and that is exactly what happened

Quote
I wonder if they would have called that on USC?

Quote
Anyone think that an undefeated Texas squad would get that PI called on them?  Didn't think so.

worst fans and posters on the web.

gotta be.

You roll into Boulder sporting yoru #15 ranking and flapping your banners about how awesome you are because you romped UTEP.

Then you blame the OFFICIALS for costing you a game in which you trailed by over two touchdowns at one point.

OMG these people can't be serious.

ku has been outplayed 2 weeks in a row. They are very fortunate to be 1-1 IMO.

that when they ran the same play in the second quarter, the same refs missed it.  Literally, they ran the pick 2x and got caught once.  They should simply STFU.

Did you see the play?
Did you see the play earlier in the drive when Briscoe did the same thing and the CU coaches got the refs attention and told him to watch for it because he missed it the last time?

Same thing happens when Seff talks to refs in basketball. Get over it. It's part of the game.

I didn't see the call.  Even if it was a crap call, there was no way in hell we should have been trailing CU 24-3 at one point and being forced to play catch-up the rest of the way.  Even I can see that.  Play to your potential, and that call doesn't matter.

ku fans are bitches.

Just like every other fanbase is after a disappointing loss to a team their team should have beat by double digits.  Its funny this comes from you as you are also labelled as an "hawk fan".

take a hike tyler. History awaits.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

That pick play is something ku has done around the goal line for a long time.  I'm sure Hawkins and every coach that ku plays against tells the ref to look for that around the goal line.  Sooner or later ku was bound to get called for it.  That is play that happens a lot without getting called but in reality it was the proper call.  It was a designed pick play and that is against the rules.  Refs need to call that kind of stuff more often IMO might keep us from seeing all these playstation games in the 40's.

Just to clarify, this loss sucks, and it doesn't help when K-State looks like the K-State of old on the same night.  The last thing I am is a classy fan, but I am a realistic one.  And one call did not lose this game for us.  A shotty gameplan and mediocre play early on did.  I've also seen us win a few games that turned on bad calls that went in our favor, and I still believe that even if the correct call was made we would have still won the game.

So the rest of the ku fans can quit bitching.  We have plenty of games left and are still in contention for the North ... and I dare say, I believe we are still better than NU or KSU.  So there.

Did you see the play?

Pinning this loss on the officiating is incredibly weak sauce. Grow the f*ck up, you pouty asshole.

I watch Sportscenter if that answers your question.

Please defend your position that that was a crap call. Please.

Having less talent than CU lost the game.  They are just better than ku and I am seriously nervous about them cleaning our clock in Hat.

But seriously ku, lol.  Seriously lucky that Robinson was injured or ISU would have &@#%ed you up in lawrence.  You are not even close to as good as you pretend to be.

Nawh Ref didn't cost ku the win. ku has problems with their defense. It's been very apparent since the Iowa St. Game. Mangino addressed it in when interviewed after game.  They can't stop anyone right now. IMHO not a top 20 team. Lot's of offense not enough defense. As a contrast Colorado will be a real test for our defense as well. KSU vs Colorado very well could be a toss up in Manhattan. IMHO

Bishop's senior year K-State had a TD called back at Colorado on a pick call. Still won a hard-fought game because the Cats were the better team, not exposed as a bunch of overhyped posers.

There's a new sheriff in town.
Apparently clock-management was an issue as well:

Quote
The clock is also not suppossed to start until the ball is marked ready-for-play after a first down. After the diving catch at midfield, we lost about 5 seconds. We did not catch a single break.

Quote
What about running the clock before setting the chains? I don't know, but it was my understanding that was a set rule and not discretion for the refs. Could have been 1-2 more plays.

Quote
I listened on radio.  Our color man is pretty astute about football.  The chain incident did happen, and a few other times, where they started the clock before they should have.  Do Colorado people operate the clocks.  Seems like a mistake one would not be expected to make if one was not trying to cheat for the home team, pretty easy to see when guys are still running with the chains.

Quote
They did start the clock rolling *pretty damn fast* after the first downs on the last drive. They probably stopped the clock for 3-4 seconds total after the tackle at midfield which was absurd. I don't think it's physically possible for the chain gang to move the sticks 25 yards in 4 seconds. We played like crap but the officiating was a joke.

Quote
I too noticed the clock errors and I was pulling my hair out. One other which hasn't been mentioned. After Patterson's valiant yet foolish effort on the return the clock magically went from 1:00 after having been stopped to :59 before we snapped the ball on 1st down. Perhaps the clock operator doesn't understand not all fans trip LSD /  falling down drunk before games?

I would recommend CU drug test their clock operator and PA guy. Me thinks they blow lines and take bong rips between plays. Or at least in the clock o's case I'm being kind cause that **** was downright criminal.

The chains don't matter, it's just the ball. Bob Davis is not astute at anything but having Lew's wad in his mouth.

Looking at the squawk boards . . . it appears that a lot of dogs got kicked in a bunch of doublewides last night.

I love reading the squawk boards . . . the way they act one would think they were franking USC or Florida.   You're ku, you haven't won an outright conference title in 8 decades, and you've never even won the Big 12 North ONCE for god's sake.
