I love the smell of peat in the evening.  That smell, you know that earthy smell...  Smells like...whisky !

Well to be fair, 5-1 and top 25 is still pretty historic for ku football.

Welcome back to earth BMJ!  Last month it was all about ku's facilities and top notch talent, now it's all about 5-1 being historic for ku

I still feel like ku's best years are ahead of them.  Young o-line, linebackers, secondary, and quite a bit of young talent in the '08, '09, and '10 classes.  Keep in mind that ku didn't really have anything tangible to sell recruits until the Orange Bowl season of '07 and the new facilities in '08.  I truly believe that those two things will have a long-term impact.

We thought the Dr. Pepper big xii championship in '03 would do the same thing.  Not so much.

We won the entire conf in 03.  We tried to sell that...it's long term impact wasn't what you'd think.
