He must have really shown them something in that open gym session to finally earn that offer.  Probably dribbled the ball with his left hand and stuff.

All of the hard work finally paid off for young Mr. Ellis.  Don't rest on your laurels now kid.  Frank expects you to keep working or he will pull that offer.  Don't think he won't.

I doubt it.  He'll let him keep it since he's a local kid and probably wants to help him out.  Frank is sometimes too perfect of a person.  There will be plenty of room for him on the bench though.   :ksu:

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

Yes, offers were made yesterday to Perry by Kstate and also WSU.  Haven't seen anything confirmed in writing yet but it was was on KSN news last night.

also WSU.

i was afraid of this.  we all know that once the local school steps in, the recruit rarely has a chance (see jackson and memphis).  i'd been hoping that wsu might have bigger fish to fry, or might not have a scholly to offer.  but we all knew they'd find an extra scholly somewhere - by any means neccesary.

and sure enough, just a couple of days before they magically offer ellis, one of their incoming recruits is forced off scholly.  just an amazing coincidence, no doubt.

There is basically 0% chance that this doesn't go to his head.  He'll probably fall so far in the ratings that he'll have no choice but to take the one remaining offer he will have left.  uk.  Sad really, this kid could have been the number one overall pick after spending one year sitting on our bench, now he"ll probably end up a second rounder after sticking around uk for all four years.

Perry basically already has his locker set up in ku locker room. We might as well start treating him like the enemy. IMO

this is another example of frank's terrible evaluation ability.  this kid has no skills.  Perry Ellis?  More like Korleone Young v 2.0.

Like ku hasn't already bought and paid for him. GMAFB  All of Perry's friends and family live next door to ku fans and they have all been told Perry is a lock for ku.  LOCK! Don't you read message boards?

If Perry's getting rattled by messageboarders, he has no shot at surviving the OOD.

if ellis is as bad at detecting sarcasm as bbhoops, that would go a long way towards explaining the slow offer.  imagine how tedious it would be to coach such a player.
