:) Way to pick the only possible period of history where K-State has a superior record than NU. That's just damn funny.

Want to try the last 20 years? 50? 100? Probably not.

Want to compare National Championships? Probably not.

How about conference championships? Probably not.

All-Americans? Probably not.

Heisman trophy winners? Probably not.

Recruiting classes? Probably not.

Instead you find some website that shows that for a limited three year period, KSU actually managed to have a marginally better record than NU. That's what you hang your hat on. Pretty weak, but then so is your team this year.

 :flush: K-State!!!
how bout big 12 championships? big 12 north division chamionships?

Nebraska won the North in 96, 97, and 99. They'll win this year too.
KSU won the North in 98 and 03.

They tied for the lead in 00, with KSU having the better overall W-L record.
Colorado won in 01, although NU played for a National Championship that year.

So if you want to count 00, they're tied...is that what you're going to hang your hat on? How many National Championship games have you guys played in....ever?

KSU was the north champion and won the right to go to Big 12CC game because we beat Nebraska in the head to head.

Tieing is a moral victory.  Congrats on yours.

Good call...looks like both were 7-1, but NU had a better overall record.

OMG.

You're horrible.  Better overall record?   Then you should have beaten KSU.  You must not have been the better team.

Yeah, better overall record...heard of that before?

NU was 12-1 that year. KSU was 11-1. That means that NU had the better winning percentage and thus the better record.

You should demand any money spend on your KSU education be refunded immediately.

Amazing how many dumb K-State fans are on this board.

Eh..you don't know crap very well do you?

When KSU and NU played, KSU was 8-2 and NU was 8-1, NU losing to OU.

Then KSU beat NU when NU was ranked #4 and KSU was #16.

KSU was 11-3 that year, while Nebraska was 10-2.

hth.

Attended both Aggieville Riots in the 1980s.
No, I come here to talk smack because you're a bunch of classless goons that actually thought you were bigtime. You'd think the loss to Baylor would have gotten that out of your system. Instead you tried to talk trash about Nebraska. The Big Red Machine stomps all over your little purple puddy-cats, and you come in here and whine about Nebraska some more.

So I'm just here as a reality check, to let you kittens know that getting uppity is inconsistent with getting beaten by Baylor and barely being over .500.

 :flush:K-State!!!
Oh, sweet irony.
First of all: Yeah we suck right now and for most of our history we have sucked, but let me let you in on something because you have obviously drank too much of the Cally Kool-Aid: All you have is your history. You haven't won a relevant game since the last century. You can go ahead and say you beat Michigan last year, but that was one of the worst Michigan teams in recent memory and even then you almost lost that in a Cal-Stanford like finish. So, take your win over a pathetic KSU team and pretend that you are back in the "Big time" and go check out the Longhorns board where your reality awaits.

According to the Big 12 Records, NU was 12-1 overall in 1999, while KSU was 11-1. NU had the better winning percentage, and won the Big 12 Championship that year.

Ah. My bad.  I was still stuck in 2000.  BTW:  KSU won a share of the North Division title in 1999.  You didn't go to the Big 12 CC game because you had the better overall record, you did it because you won the head to head.

That's the same as it was in 2000 when we went, because we won the head to head.

hth.
