    The very best.
Few Days ago I had a BBQ at my house with an assortment of friends hangin out and talking. While I was grillin the brauts I fired up a conversation with a guy who is one the Football team. Just the usual how are summer workouts what's it like to have Snyder back? He said they are working hard and the spirit of the team is high. He thinks we should be going to a bowl game this year (which I completely agree with). Then we started talking about some good stuff, nothing new to anyone just pretty cool to see a player get excited about his fellow teammates.

I asked him what the QB situation is like with so many guys competing for the starting spot this year. He said its a tricky situation because Snyder clearly wants to run an offense with a Dual Threat QB, but his best QB as of now is Coffman. He thinks that Coffman will start the first few games and then Gregory will take over the rest of the season. Gregory just needs time to learn the offense and get some chemistry with team. The part that makes this really weird is the fact that Coffman is voted captain his teammates. So he said anything could happen at the QB spot. Then we talked about Gregory and what he is like. I guess the guy is just an animal. Build like a Linebacker but can run pretty well. Overall he seemed pretty excited about Gregory and what he can do with the team once he learns the offense. He did mention that it apparent Gregory is older and more mature. The first thing that jumps out about him is his frame, he is flat out HUGE, second would be his maturity and how he acts. Both of those things I like!!

The other topic we touched on that I enjoyed talking to him with was Daniel Thomas. He pretty much echoed what everyone has been saying about this guy on the boards. He can run you over no matter who is trying to tackle him. His legs are like tree trunks but is still able to cut on a dime to make you miss. Again like everyone said he is working with the RB and doing an amazing job so far. Thomas could come in like Banks did last year and shock the BIG XII.

So nothing too exciting or really new, but I figured I would share what I heard. Honestly its just nice to talk to people face to face about the team. hearing an insiders take on what's going on, compared to the boards.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Horse crap.  The offense is new to all of the players. Gregory knows just as much of it was howdy doody Coffman does.  We are going to get absolutely ass hammered by any legitimate D1 programs.  Start letting that soak in ladies.  Christ... you sound like a powertard.

OK, this whole pessimistic thing is cute and all- but os getting a little old and stale. Look we all know that we arent gonna be world beaters this yr, but its time to start getting ramped up for football. I dont think that just because we have diff coaches we will shock the world, but i do think (in a most non-tardish way) that there could be some suprises this yr. You have to think that if Prince was a better coach we would have had more success. Anyway, its time to start getting RABID about the 'Cats!

Sounds like we have some typical bandwagon jumpers.  Support your frickin team and have a positive outlook.  You are the type of person if we have some success you'll be right back on board.  Don't give me that optimist line either.  I bet you were there on the 50 yard line when we were 0-11 every year.  Oh wait, you are probably not old enough to remember those days.  Go grab a pair of penny loafers and a sports coat and join the crowd in the east.  Go Cats :kstatriot:

hi there powertard, it's not about being postive or negitive, but about being realistic, something you obviously aren't.

Am I going to be secretly charged for this on a credit card or something?  Really feel like I should be paying for this kind of stuff.  Thanks, fff. :kstatriot:
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

I love listening to all the "realistic" people who are arm chair quarterbacks who haven't played a lick of division 1 football let alone high school.  You can be realistic and also be positive about the team you support.  I would like to think we have better talent than we did in 2005 and we went 5-7, so is a 6-6 or 7-5 season out of reach probably not.  I am not saying we are going back to the 9-3's or 10-2's, but how about maybe being respectable again on the field.  Some of you remind me of the crew on the movie "Major League" who hang out in right field bad mouthing the team until some signs of winning show up.  Most of us don't have any idea what goes into a successful division 1 program, we would like to think we would but we don't.

Few Days ago I had a BBQ at my house with an assortment of gay men hangin out and I do mean OUT. While I was grillin the brauts I fired up a conversation with a guy who is one the Football team. Just the usual how are summer workouts, do you like the way these panties fit me, can I play the rusty trombone for you, what's it like to have Snyder back? He said they are hardly working and the spirit of the team is high, since "spirit" is a term used in football. He thinks we should be going to a gay bar this year (which I completely agree with). Then we started talking about some good stuff, like old boyfreinds and what we will be wearing tomorrow, nothing new to anyone just pretty cool to see a player get excited about his fellow teammates, which I could see, believe me, he was VERY excited!

I asked him what the QB situation is like with so many guys competing for the starting spot, and how I wish I was the center so I could have them putting their hands on my rump this year. He said its a tricky situation because Snyder clearly wants to run an offense with a Dual Threat QB, but his best QB as of now is the guy that cleans the used water cups from the sidelines after practice. He thinks that Coffman will start the first few games and then Gregory will take over the rest of the season. Gregory just needs time to learn the offense and get some chemistry with team. The part that makes this really weird is the fact that Coffman is voted captain his teammates, and I know, this is really NOT weird, but I just thought I would throw this in to make it look good. So he said anything could happen at the QB spot. Then we talked about Gregory and what he likes, like men with bald heads, men with 6 pack abs and a ass that you could lick. I guess the guy is just an animal. Build like a Linebacker but can run pretty well. Overall he seemed pretty excited about Gregory, because I could again see the "excitement" in his pants, and what he can do with the team once he learns the offense. He did mention that it apparent Gregory is older and more mature, not like all those other guys, He is sweet and listens to his stories and actually acts like he cares about his feelings. The first thing that jumps out about him is his frame, he is flat out HUGE,, and ummmmmmm yes, I mean HUGE(wink wink, hahaha, I am baaaad, ewwww) second would be his maturity and how he acts. Both of those things I like in a man!!

The other topic we touched on that I enjoyed talking to him with was Daniel Thomas, since I think he is also the hottest man alive!! “Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”
