    I'm with Coco.

Was just about to post that... gotta love tombstone.

tombstone is good in theory but in the real world i do not like this product. outsides of pizza get burnt before the inside gets done. this frozen pizza product seems to cook very unevenly. i can not recommend this product. sorry.

Never an issue with me. What do you use to cook it?

an oven

ffs, do you use a pizza stone, a cookie sheet, bare pizza on rack? I've tried all three and the pizza stone and bare pizza on rack gives flawless results.

don't remember what i used in the past (it's been awhile). this seems to be quite the cats meow around here though so i'll give it another go. will just cook on bare rack and report back w/ findings.

I always take the pizza out of the freezer as i set the oven to preheat so it thaws. Then I cook for the minimum time. It usually cooks through.

Also, I use this for cutting: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&Sku=13385971

This

don't get all the tombstone love. i'm betting it's the name and the fact that people just haven't tried jacks. they're both made by kraft. jacks is cheaper. jacks is better. do you guys not have jacks as an option when purchasing frozen pizzas at your local supermarket???

imo pepperoni is 2nd in the totino's line -- personally prefer the "Canadian Style Bacon" (with water added!)

Speaking of, has anyone ever used one of those frozen pizza turnstile rack thingys?

http://www.amazon.com/Presto-03430-Pizzazz-Pizza-Oven/dp/B00005IBXJ

I think it's just an iron hung over a slow record player

haven't used that thing but this thing made by the same company looks horrible. can't you just imagine cheese and other nasties getting up inside the red plastic part and you can't get it out.  :yuck:

have, not a bad tool.  also have a pampered chef pizza slicer.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Clams has a pretty large thread on this topic.  He coached me through a session of pizza making once.  Turned out pretty great.  Actually the reason I went out an bought a basil plant.

Very easy. Can either wipe it down with your dish rag and a drop of soap real quick or throw it in the dishwasher. It's just one piece of stainless steel that wraps up into a handle, so no gunk in the wheel and stuff.

We do a fair ammount of our own pizzas. I like the pesto pizzas with pine nuts, chicken, and a nice 3 cheese blend.

So, I'm assuming everyone here licks the pizza cutting wheel after they cut their pie, right?  Anyone ever pretend like they cut the holy f^ck out of their tongue while doing it to freak out the gf/wife?

I only do that to get the cheese/sausage dingleberry off. Not worth it for the sauce.

yes, make pizza a lot.  spent the better part of the last 3 years working on a decent north east JOCO dough recipe.  sauce is easy if you have access to good canned san marzano tomatoes.

recently began grilling pizza.

I would love to get a homemade pizza recipe.  I dabble in it but have never made my own crusts.  I don't know why I'm so sensitive about this frozen pizza issue but I'm seriously considering crashing the next 'Paker and bringing some of these pizzas.

PS: Anyone who calls pizza "za" loses thousands of cool points IMO. Not that anyone here did I just remember a ku fan doing it once and I wanted to hit him in the face with something hard.

Tombstone is really the best <$4-5 frozen pizza IMO.

anything more than $5 for a frozen pizza might as well be spent on a carryout / handmade pizza.  :lick:

I find this shocking, SHOCKING!  I wouldn't eat anything else, although that Bellatorio stuff looks pretty delish (never seen before).
