So if OB fails, Fitz is responsible for single handedly ruining K-State football, right?

Are we all in agreement?

What would happen if any of you all did in the "real" world? You know, the company you are working for is going down in smoke and there is wind of a young hotshot up and comer businessman who could have strong interest in helping resurrect the company you work for in a CEO role. Some jackass from marketing sends a mass email out announcing the new hire and your company loses out. I believe I would take his cell phone and stick it in the sunken ceiling. I might even stick his calculator in a green jell-o mold.

I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

Put scotch tape over his phone receiver.  Have various coworkers call him periodically with "important" sh*t.

I love how you have all forgotten that this thing was falling apart before Bill left the first time.  You guys were screaming for him to resign so you could get someone younger, with more fire. Does 9-13 ring a bell? OB's record his last two years.  That was before EVERYONE in this conference got an all-world QB and started running no huddle spread.  His teams couldn't even stop the one team that was running it then, Texas Tech. How is he going to stop it now? :ksu:

Everyone knows the real one to blame for the downfall of DoD is the little hustler who cried "Curfew Violation" down in Tempe at the Fiesta Bowl when Ell was bringing her some apple juice and some aspirin for her headache.

Very stupid post. Very stupid. In '04, K-state gave up 35 to Tech, including a 90 yard punt return.  TT had 417 total yards to K-state's 415.

ku gave up 30 to Tech, who gained 538 yards compared to ku's 336.

Clearly at this point, Mangino and his schemes were light years ahead of Snydes.

FWIW, Nebraska was really an outlier, the blackshirts gave up 70 but still managed to hold tech to 15 less yards than ku did.

Eurekahawkidiot,

Find a link where someone was calling for Snyder to resign. Go ahead.....find one.

back to reality....
Starting the 2005 season, most were wondering how the coaching staff remained unchanged...particularly Bobby Elliot when it was obvious that our defense needed new leadership after falling off the map between '03 and '04. Brett Bielema leaving had alot to do with that but so did shoddy recruiting practices the previous three seasons.

It was obvious that Snyder was going to refuse to fire anyone and when faced with the ultimatum...he retired, then regretted it terribly afterward.

class dismissed.

The chance of that happening is long gone.  Patterson will be too expensive by that time.  The KSU way is to get a nobody on the cheap and hope we hit the jackpot.  Huggins is the lone exception(thank you tim weiser).

under the weefer i agree with you. Most k-staters think the new prez and new AD are willing to spend some money on a coach, and IF we're lucky, will do an actual coaching search (first one since huggins was hired!)  :hope:

Don't forget that Snyder also admitted that the programme had lost it's glow with the last couple years performance, which is kinda admitting that the team wasn't that good. He also said that with that being said, the stress for the expectations would not be as high for the new coach.

lost it's glow? Just post the link. YOu're the Kstate fan. You tell me...but,
last couple years? Since you're retarded I don't know which you are referring to. If you mean the couple years between winning the Big 12 Title and making a BCS bowl and 2005 we weren't as good. Not by a longshot. Didn't have the players to step up but we didn't have the staff either to keep it together.

You know nothing. I'm trying to help you.
