I'm from Olathe too, last year or two years ago (can't remember) some Indian dude that lives in my culdesac (sp) made the finals. Us Olathe people are pretty smart

Why is the Scripps National Spelling Bee even on ESPN? :confused:

Once used this in a class debate to prove cheerleading isn't a sport:

Cheerleader:  "Cheerleading competitions are on ESPN!!  This makes it a sport!!!1"

me:  "So is the national spelling bee.  (laughing condescendingly)--> Would you consider spelling a sport?"

Cheerleader:  "No.  I've clearly lost this debate."

me:  "Yes, that is right."
