IMO We need an offensive threat at SS , One More deceant starter  One more SoSo starter  :hope:, A Bullpen Relief guy we can depend on day in day out

Guys who i wouldn't mind trading:

Aviles
Gill
Luke
Tehan
Jose
Olivo
Mahay
Kila Ka'aihue

I don't know who we could get w/ a package of one or two of those guys plus some more prospects, I know it'd be impossible to move Jose w/ his contract but its nice to dream. and Don't move Gill or Luke unless you are getting a MLB ready pitcher who is meh/good. i just don't think either of those two are worth what we are paying them imo

They need a TRUE #3 hitter.

They have a lot of decent bats in the lineup that can hit .270...

But they don't have that hitter that can make the rest of the team look good like a Maurer for the Twins.

if we could find that in a SS in a non contender that we could unload a prospect or two and aviles then yes but idk where else we could realistically put a guy like that unless we could move Jose in a trade, Some say move DDJ but i don't wanna trade him.

    Catch it!
Our drafts were better the last 2 or 3 years.  Most the drafts before us have killed us now though.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
Every time I see Hoch pitch it makes me want to kill myself. We could have had Lincecum or Longoria.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

    Bob Esponja
O's would be willing to consider trade of Huff for lack greenkid. Huff's BA, OBP and OPS aren't great and he K's a lot but he has eight taters and 38 steaks. Should be enough for a meal. Plus the O's will whore their roster out to anyone who actually wants to win, so I'm sure he's on the trading block.

QFT. It's not like they drafted Zack Greinke or anything.

What other player have they drafted that turned out to be an all-star? They have only 1 maybe 2 players in the minors right now that are pro worthy. They suck when it comes to the draft.

They don't have to be an all-star to be a good draft pick imo. It's still early right now, but I think Butler and Hochevar have the potential be major players for the Royals in the future. I don't think they have done the best job drafting but I don't think they have done the worst.

I would love to see Moore try & get Braves pitcher Jair Jurrjens he is 22 years old & this is his 3rd year in the majors. His career ERA is 3.44, & is putting up solid #'s so far this year (4-2 record/ 2.07 ERA/ 1.18 WHIP). I doubt the Braves would give him up.

Indians pitcher Cliff Lee however will most likely be on the market. The Indians ended contract negotiations at the beginning of the season (they don't know if Lee is a true #1 ace) & have said they would trade Lee if the Indians fall out of the playoff race.

doubt Braves would give up Jurrjens, and doubt Cleavland would trade interdivision, doubt its gonna matter as KC will be out of it by mid June at the latest

I doubt KC makes any kind of "spectacular" trades this year...

I am not saying I like the idea at all, but can you imagine what teams would give up for Grienke right now?  Could prolly make up for 3-4 years crapty drafts.  People would go all  :crybaby: and  :chainsaw: if they did it though.

frack off, powertardpat.

We've drafted one, maybe 2 MLB caliber players in the past decade with our first round pick.  The rest can barely make the &@#%in roster.

Wouldnt really blame it on the scouting department though, up until the last couple of years Glass was having them draft based on signability instead of talent.
