Pizza.  Or corndogs.  One of those.

You know that I have never had a non-frozen corndog before?  Like, the state fare ones where they dip the dog in batter and fry it?  Bet they are fantastic.  I would walk around the stand and knock the ones out of people's hands that put ketchup on them.

does one at sonic count?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You're taking an inexperienced freshman over a 1st team All Big 12, 2nd team All-American, McDonald All-American, 5-star senior who already has a national title under his belt.  That's awesome.  Collins has a better 3-point shot as well.  Go back and watch the ku/Memphis national title game... Collins stood toe-to-toe with Rose and made a couple huge plays down the stretch.  Based on your "Wall > Collins" logic, Henry > Meeks.

Next, Cole Aldrich is a much better defender than Cousins at this point and has a better mid range jump shot.  Aldrich will also be drafted higher than Cousins in next year's NBA Draft.  That's far from a draw, but you go ahead and believe what you want.  Using Rivals' recruiting rankings, here's how the two benches stack up:

where will wall vs collins be drafted?

ku should still be favored to win it all.  ku brought in three 5-stars and three McD AA's in '05 and started the season 3-4.  People don't realize how much of an adjustment it is from high school to college.  Kentucky will be good, but I'd be shocked if they played for a national title next year.

Jesus you are stupid. Oh and in regards to how this happens.... worldwide.

Ben, let it go. They KNOW their team has no shot at the title, let alone the tourny, so they need someone else to support. Let them believe/think/know/whatever that uk > ku. Only time it will matter is when the teams are on the court playing. Then the whole country will know who is better.

The bigger problem is the whole team is adjusting to a new coach/system.  With Patterson and Meeks (maybe) returning, and Wall and Cousins NBA ready right now, the whole freshman thing wouldn't concern me as a Kentucky fan.  More likely, I'd know that those 4 are all gone next year, and currently the whole team is effectively freshman to Cal. Beyond that, uk's best 5 is clearly superior in talent to ku's best 5. Only X would come out on top in the match-up column.  Kentucky's bench is going to be better too.

You are high on crack.

Collins > Wall
Taylor < Meeks
Henry > Miller/Dodson
Morris < Patterson
Aldrich > Cousins

Bench:  Little, Johnson, Robinson, Withey, Morris, CJ Henry, Morningstar, Reed, Releford

Collins over Wall is just ridiculous.  Not even worth discussing.  You may as well have said Collins was better than Derrick Rose.  That's just Bob Krause stupid.  Aldrich and Cousins may be a little closer of an argument.  Even if I gave you a draw there (and it would be a tremendous gift) Kentucky's is still a better line-up.

Kentucky's bench:  Bledsoe, Orton, Dodson/Miller, Hood, Liggins, Stevenson, Harris

Pretty close, but Kentucky's still looks better.  Of course, uk is so far over the limit, we won't know exactly who the bench is for a while.  FWIW, I'd put ku number one because of the afore mentioned, "new coach, new system" problem.  Kentucky has better talent though.  Just the way it is.

I like that, might have to use it sometime. Now back on topic, as far as corn dogs go, vista buy one get one free on tuesdays  :lick:

Yep... a team that's breaking in a new coach, new system, new players, and just went to the NIT last season should definitely be better than a team with national championship experience.  Jeezus.... I'm starting to think stupid runs in the water over there in Manhattan.  Either that, or a steady diet of Hatorade.  Probably a little bit of both, actually.

In a not that strong SEC Kentucky should do excellently.  Also by the end of the year the one'n'doners should be finding their rhythms and The returning talent was decent, just not deep.  Not much worse than the team that played you in the national Championship last year, just with some better players.  You're national Championship experience argument is ridiculous.  Only two guys contributed to that team and neither were starters.  GTFO.

First of all, nice obliteration of the English language.  Next, Sherron Collins played 34 minutes in the national title game.  The only reason he didn't start was because he didn't want to take Robinson's spot mid-season and mess with team chemistry.  Aside from that, forget about national title experience... let's just talk NCAA tournament experience.  Marcus Morris and the rest of ku's freshmen from last year have more NCAA tournament experience than anyone on Kentucky's roster.  Going from NIT and no NCAA tourney experience to national champions is damn near unheard of.  I figured over the past few years you might have learned something from watching college basketball, but no... you guys just continue to stay stuck on stupid.

Doing what Cal is currently doing is damn near unheard of. You're just pissed that you thought that ku easily had a national title locked up due to Cal leaving memphis, and all of the sudden ku is back at #2 due to Cal bringing in even more talent then what he already had at memphis.

You know, the last team to go from an NIT berth to a title was Syracuse in '03. So it's not really that unheard of or unfamiliar to ku.

Nope.... ku has the better team and more experience at the college level.  ku also has the better coach.  Everyone forgets that ku adds three 5-stars and a 4-star to a Sweet 16 team that damn near knocked off Michigan State (the national runner-up).   Kentucky will be lucky to finish the season in the top 10.

If Meeks stays in the NBA Draft, Kentucky might not even finish in the top 20.

Kentucky is not going to be nearly as good as their fanbase expects. Which is "unpossible" to do regardless. I wouldn't rule out an embarrassing early season loss like they have had in the past and they want to fire Cal. It's the same song and dance every year for Kentucky.

Um..there was only ONE reason why K State was in the tourny in '08.

Was it the record? No
Was it because of big wins against ranked teams? Again, no
Was it because of the NCAA's love for everything Beasley and thought it would be tragic for him not to be in the tourny? (even though K State was less qualified to be there than A LOT of other teams). I think I hit the nail on the head.

Your tourny entry was completely political and that's it. K State did not deserve to be in the tournament that year. That was a HUGE fluke.

Was it the record and third place conference finish? No
Was it because of Handing the champs their worst loss of the year? Again, no
Was it because of the evil conspiring organization known as the NCAA's love for everything Beasley and thought it would be tragic for him not to be in the tourny? (even though K State was awesome). I think I nailed my cousin.

Your tourny entry was inspirational to us all and that's it. K State did not deserve to be that poorly seeded. That was a HUGE fluke.
