that we have a 65k+ seat stadium within the next 7 years? They don't have to be completed within that span, just the odds that we have the funds and intention to do it. I say like 20%. :users:

You're not giving Currie enough future credit. He could raise like $65m in the next three years or something. Not sure if that's a lot of money but lets just say he will raise more than our wildest dreams.

But yeah with that said I am leaning more towards zero percent chance considering the joke that our football program is. Just didn't want to seem like a non-EMAW a-hole right off.

0%.  Our fanbase could never support that.  Would be a horrible move.

I've said it before, but I'd just be happy if we get a shorter, longer pressbox in with the ability to add seating above it if we ever need to (bout a 2% chance).

I would love to see it but BSFS doesn't consistantly sell out at 50k, so it would be a bad move.  I have heard there is(or was) a waiting list on the suites though- so maybe adding more of those is an option.

There is a better chance they take away seats to make more suites.

If we start putting a decent product on the field again, we'll start selling that bitch out regularly.  Big IF though...

Really hope we do this.

Would look awesome on TV to have an extra 15,000 empty seats.

Maybe we could sell advertising on the seat backs or bleachers to cover the cost? Excellent, guaranteed exposure would be great sales pitch.

never gonna happen, and if it does it would only embarrass us in how empty our stadium would be. they were all bonered out at oklahoma state about their new stadium, and how it seated 65,000!!yeah!!    the stadium was never full, and hell they were even good.

I'm not sure we could fit 65k even if they gave tickets away considering the product that will be on the field in the near future.

I think ^ comes before another expansion to BSFS

A stadium with 53-55,000 permanent seats . . . probably about 40%.

65K . . . not a chance.

Does your "alumni" association have enough money to donate? From what I understand, farmers are getting hit hard by the economy, and hookers aren't allowed to keep any of their money. Just sayin'...

i doubt farmers are getting hit harder than anyone else. they are subsidized up the ass anyway.

hell, the entire community of riley co. (3.2 % unemployment) is damn near recession proof. it's absurd how vibrant this area of the state is.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

So, alums don't donate toward athletics, academics, ect. at all. Right.....

Shoulda been clearer for you in my post. I wasn't singling out the alumni association itself, but moreso alums in general. Did you even know you had an alumni association before I pointed it out?

Pad, people (including your family) hate you. They wish you were never born and wish they would never have to associate themselves with you ever. People, after meeting you, hope you die a very painful and grotesque death and can honestly admit that after even talking to you, their lives are so much worse because of it. Please do society, your parents, and any future spawn you might unleash on society, a favor. Kill yourself. Jump off a bridge, get hit by a car, just do it as quick as possible. PEOPLE HATE YOU!  :stfu: :poundon:

I don't know how we'll even get to 55K.  Those upper, upperdeck seats are an albatross.

I hope they do this.  Same with the Bram.  They need to yank out seats and put in more suites.  We can't fill either of them as the currently stand, so we should decrease the inventory, increase the cost and simultaneous increase demand.

Seems pretty &@#%ing basic.  Maybe the new President and AD will have a &@#%ing brain.

It's all fun and games to clear seats for suites in the 'seum, but when Frank's soldiers get to playing in NC games every year, ppl are gonna be pissed there's not Kentucky capacity. Especially when it's a battle of tempers as Frank and Calipari meet multiple times in the final four, with Frank and his Manhattan Mashers winning them all.

I think KSU's odds of adding another 15,000 seats to BSFS are way greater than what you mentioned with Frank's soldiers.

There is a better chance they take away seats to make more suites.
