I'm rooting for both of these guys, but I'll be surprised if either of them make the team.
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

So if Campbell would have duplicated his junior-season numbers, do you think he would have been drafted? I'm guessing yes but these things are fickle.

You mean sophomore, he sucked in '07 too

I hope that Ron Paul's weiner breaks off in your butt.  And that when they remove the limp noodle they have to remove 1 foot of your intestine and that you will never poop a solid turd again.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Ian has a chance because he should fit the rams defense. Ron Princess ruined Ian Campbell and maybe the rams can fix him. Rossman has no chance since they spent a lot of money on veteran kicker last year.

Can anyone think of another cat to regress as badly as Campbell?

Kavanaugh sucked from the get-go.  That bowl game was the high point of his career.  It was all downhill from there.

My point exactly. :barman:  ...or maybe he didn't fall quite as far as Campbell. (?)

I know that it is unusual for someone to make a valid point around here backed up by info, instead of just saying how bad "we"suck or a certain player sucks but i will do my best.

1.  Ian played the DE spot his Sophmore year and was VERY productive.  Believe he had 11.5 sacks and numerous TFL.  He eared all Big 12 honors.

2.  Ian was moved to OLB, which was a position he had never played, in HS he was the MLB.  He worked his tail off and did the best he could, even though he was not very good playing this positon, but still managed to be HM All Big 12.

3.  Moved back to DE, BUT if any of you D-bags actually watched KSU football you would have noticed that he still took around 40%  of the snaps lining up as a DT.  Never understood this, yet still managed to be HM All Big 12.

4.  He NEVER bitched about where he was playing, just came out every week and played his butt off.

5.  To say a Ian regressed is not necessarily untrue, but take a look at the 3 postions that he played in 3 years and also take in to consideration that the people who actually watch a lot of Big 12 football thought he was pretty darn good.

6.  To compare him to B. K. is absolutely INSANE!!

7.  Good day...

Those HM awards don't mean crap.  Won off of name alone.

He has a horrible 40, is small, and very low # of 225 reps

Know he ran a bad 40, 4.99.  Do you happen to have his height, weight and bench reps handy?

Thanks for taking into consideration ALL of my arguments.

Happen to have his 3 cone and his pro agility times?  In case you didn't know they measure agility, speed and quickness.

Thanks for backing up your statements with legit info.

What are your facts? He was moved to a position in need of help but was too slow to field that position, then was moved back to d-line and was still ineffective. He's undersized for d-line and too slow for LB. Obviously Tibesars defensive schemes or lack thereof had something to do with it. But you can't hide the "facts" he did decline as an effective pass rusher and player as the years went by. Good Day.
