Come on NU fans.  The "Circumference of Ron Prince's head" and "Gay-state" smack is D-II level at very best.  Florida Atlantic had better smack.

Remember, quantity of smack does not = quality.

Hey...we're trying, man.  But I'm not sure if we'll ever come up with something as clever as PinkSkirts.

I saw your defense give a valiant effort to stop the juggernaut of an offense that ku sends out onto the field...  It looked like your defense was trying not to snag their panties by running into a ku player too hard.

The universe of KSU smack is so exhausted and tired that finding new smack for a program with an all-time .432 winning percentage is like decoding the human genome.

Bring it - Ell Roberson to Jamal Lord before Ell dismantles the Huskers in Lincoln.

Probably ought not to talk about ancient history too much when you guys start bringing out winning percentages.

This year marks the ten year anniversary of the last time the 'skers beat Kansas State at home.

For the record, when that happened, Tom Osborne was their coach and they were defending national champions.

Just a little FYI.

I wondered at the intensity of smack talk this year on the boards noticeably driven by the "guests" (and I use this term loosely) visiting a KSU board so I went over to Huskerpedia to see what the factor here is. Low and behold i come across this little Gem.

And I quote
"Having not won there since 96, speaks volumes about our program and how much we have struggled. A win there would definitely show the rest of the football world that NU has turned the corner."

Evidently a win against KSU justifies NU as a program that has "turned the corner."

Thank you Huskers for the compliment. Now can you explain how Herbie Husker came up with the name Lil' Red for his side kick? Hopefully he was alone at the time and it was not a grope (oops I meant group) effort.

NU is 25-5 vs KSU since I've been alive.  Not bad.

Since I started attending KSU games(1997, I was 11) we've done alright.  Fact is, I was too young to even grasp the concept of football when K-state was a crap team, so your ancient history doesn't really affect me or other students..
..At all.

Now, maybe if you were getting into an argument with a 35-40+ year old, that smack might have some ground.  But current freshmen at both colleges were seven and eight years(3rd grade) the last time NU won in Manhattan.

Don't feel bad though.  You could be Mizzou.  They haven't beat us AT ALL since the frosh class was learning to walk.

You surely don't want to get into this with my nephew... He's witnessed 5 K-State wins in his life as well.  Crazy thing is... He's only 8!!
