smaller is never better w/airports.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I've spent too much time at IAH.  When Hurricane Rita was bearing down on Houston, I flew in on my way to Pensacola, when my flight out was canceled.  I waited in line for 5 hours to talk to a gate agent.  The airport was packed, and they were shutting it down at midnight.

I stood in terminal C trying to get out of Houston.  Finally, I got the last seat on a flight to Denver.  My only other non-international option was Anchorage.  As I waited for my plane, I stood on the bridge in C and could see a line of people thousands deep trying to get in.  CNN was broadcasting live below, it was nuts. Those agents for Continental earned their money that day.  I still have never been in a panic scene like IAH was that day.

Man, that's a good story.  I would have eaten a whole bottle of xanax during that business.

indeed, a pretty cool perspective of the tragedy and one that you'll remember for the rest of your life.

so i really love airports but hate flying, kinda a puss when it comes to that.  this mexico trip was my first xanax related flying experience.  was excellent, almost like i love flying now.

Know what you mean, brah.

I've flown hundreds of times, but sometimes my my mind gets the best of me. The smallest hiccup or bump in the air makes my heart stop.  :ohno:

Pretty much surrendering your own free will to a guy with a Dewalt wand thing is just too  :blindfold: for me.

used to love flying until a plane i was on started to smell like smoke twenty minutes after we got in the air and had to turn around and land at the same airport we took off from. our plane was greeted on the runway by multiple fire trucks, etc. thought we were going to die.  :'(

who likes to go to bed at 4 am and get up for class the next day, lew perkins?

Took them March 14th and then again on the 22nd.  They are very weird.   Like those huge machines they drive in the Arctic so polar bears wont attack you.  They go to Terminal B iirc.

I took it march 7th, Kind of cool, they drive in forward, then the driver goes to the other side of the thing and drives it out forward.  Really the only cool thing about it.  Saves time at least. . .
