I think Newton just used you guys for some free food and chicks for a few days. You really think him holding a cowbell that someone handed him means anything?
Well according people that were there they said Cam asked to ring the bell from a fan and that he was seen standing and ringing the bell the whole game. Not too many recruits do that for the whole game. After the game was over he reported ran on the field and hugged coach Mullen. While some this may B.S I doubt it.
Also didn't Hayes said that him and Newton were going to come together on a visit to KSU on Sept 4? I assume that didn't happen so maybe hayes is just full of stories.
Also the talk that Synder will help him more than Mullen is also I little bit over rated I think. Mullen was the QB for Alex Smith at Utah and he basically help him to be first round draft pick. Plus Mullen and Tebow have a great relationship as well. They said Tebow would often come over to Mullen's house just to hangout. There is article somewhere that said Mullen would often invite his players over to hang out and play the ESPN trivia game. When they asked Mullen's wife who won the most she said that Mullen often did but that Newton would occasionally beat him.
That said, I still have some doubts but I'm confident that he will be dawg come Dec. 16. If not like I said I'd like to seen him at KSU over OU, UT, and Arizona.
