2 first round picks, a 3rd round pick, and Kyle Orton???  Jeezus, is who is the Bears GM, Carl Peterson??  They gave waaay too much for him.  Granted, Kyle Orton is the equivalent of a case of footballs, but 2 firsts????

This to me is a bad trade for the Broncos, first of all you are now getting a mediocre (at best) qb who isnt half the player cutler is.  Next you get a first round pick who you are going to spend on a defensive player with our 12th pick and quite possibly continue with d at 18 so the Defense will be good but god I am not sure about the offense.  Dont like kyle orton one bit.   :crybaby:

I am upset with the trade. . .we should trade the Bears our #18 pick (from bears via trade) and Kyle Orton for Jay Cutler, you think they'd go for that?

I know I would be happy with it.  Shannahan had to know it was coming soon, but I just cant believe they hired McDaniels.  Nothing pisses me off more than when teams run to the Patriots for assistants or players.  Dont know who I would have rather had but, defenitly not Josh McDaniels, I really have a bad taste in my mouth right now about that guy.

Yeah, you have to be to want cassel over cutler.  I hate the fact that he even has the job, let alone the ability to tell ownership that he wants cassel which starts this whole fracking 3 ring circus.

I wouldnt start laughing just yet half-pint.  You have just as much as an unproven coach.  Your just lucky you guys had a shat qb (ha who am i kidding, a shat team) that wasnt pissed you traded for Cassel (who is a system qb)

Yeah I don't actually dislike the move all that much. You can't tell me that Kyle Orton would drag the offense down any more than Cutler when he was pouting. To hell with it. The more the saga drug on, the more I believed that Cutler was never going to get his head screwed on straight. Cutler would have never totally embraced the mental and emotional role of QB. Send him to another division, get some good draft picks to work with and a serviceable QB for the interim. Orton's not going to lead the team to a championship, but I do believe they'll find somebody who will.

What a ridiculous trade.  2 1st round picks and a 3rd for a proven SEC loser QB?  The Bears have been desperate for a QB for a long time, so I guess this is a bit of an upgrade, but it still seems like you're giving away the house.

Denver could be targeting Freems at 18, in which case this makes a little more sense.  &@#% I'd hate if he ends up in orange.

I've got the Broncos taking Sanchez with that pick in my latest Mock Draft, I do my mock drafts based on what teams should do vs. what they will do, and I have Free moved up to the Jets at #17 when I had him going to Minnesota at #22 earlier.

I noticed this when I was researching all of the catsfan03040506060708 mock drafts.  Worthwhile use of my time.

Not saying this would happen, but how crapty would that be to be a chiefs/wildcats fan, and have Freems go to denver and win a superbowl and go on to the HOF?  Would you accept him as a K-Stater or would you hate him like you hated Elway for tearing you all apart?

Well, we all know that everyone loves Elway, but most Chiefs fans won't admit it.

I've thought of this scenario myself, and I must say... It would be cool on a number of levels. First, rubbing the Squeeps' noses in it, right after we kick them when they're down... Then reveling in the fact that we were RIGHT when we mercilessly mocked Freeman in college, despite the fact that he goes on to win three Superbowls with the Broncos... Delicioso. :broncosapproved:
