What a ridiculous trade.  2 1st round picks and a 3rd for a proven SEC loser QB?  The Bears have been desperate for a QB for a long time, so I guess this is a bit of an upgrade, but it still seems like you're giving away the house.

Denver could be targeting Freems at 18, in which case this makes a little more sense.  frack I'd hate if he ends up in orange.
Would make him that much easier to hate.

Not saying this would happen, but how crapty would that be to be a chiefs/wildcats fan, and have Freems go to denver and win a superbowl and go on to the HOF?  Would you accept him as a K-Stater or would you hate him like you hated Elway donkey's O-line for tearing your D-line's knee ligaments apart?

Exactly which D-linemen were these that got their ACL's or MCL's torn because of our offensive line?

Off the top of my head Bryan Cox's leg was broken by Dan Neil.
and
George Foster fractured and dislocated Tony Williams ankle
and
Paul Spicer's leg was broken by Matt Lepsis

but those are off the top of my head.

Now I don't have Freeman in the 1st Round at all! I've got him to San Francisco in the 2nd Round!

This is cluttering the Cutler thread.  Could you please start your own thread about your mock drafts?

TIA

I ask which linemen had their ligaments torn, and 2/3 of the people you mention were linebackers, and 0/3 had torn ligaments. . .great argument  :blindfold:

To be fair, the point is kinda made.  Denver's blocking scheme is pretty dirty.  Its legal, and it works real damn well, but its certainly not a safe.  That said, safety has been taken too far lately.  Even as a Chiefs fan, kinda glad that its still out there.

fyp, sorry shanahan left no more cut blocking scheme they have to play straight up with their homefield built in advantage.

Gee I guess you must be right rundouche24, the donkeys must block legally b/c they don't shred ligaments they destroy bones.

Yeah, I love watching chiefs games because they never cause any injuries to the other team, especially not dirty hits, (Bernard Pollard)

Well if he weren't being blocked in the back while on the ground he may have gotten more elevation to hit above the knee.

Plus it ain't like the entire defense is built around hitting the other qb in the knee while the defender is on the ground.

Yeah, it was completely clean, that's why they made it illegal this offseason. . . :flush:

No, I agree there was a penalty, a flag should have been thrown and it should have been 1st & 20. :D

??? You guys got the ball. . .you'd have taken a ten yard clipping rather than a fumble recovery?  That must be why you guys lost to buffalo by about 50 points.

Hmm you're right, your obsession of all things Chiefs trumps mine. Still a flag could have been thrown.
And the losing had more to do with the horrible team, imo.

Yeah, I kind of have to watch all their games since I live in Kansas City, and most of my friends are Chiefs fans.  Get stuck watching a lot of their games.

I have it, but my friends are always over, I bring my other TV into the living room and watch them both usually, or when they are on at different times.  Plus I had Randy Moss on my fantasy team, so the fact that the guy throwing him the ball getting injured, and him fumbling on that play. . .it was memorable, to say the least.

I see, the dual tvs are great; roommate had that for the tournament this past year

Actually that would be most excellent but it's not going to happen.  I have a hard time imagining Freeman as anything other than pretty much a complete bust at the next level.

Oh yeah. . .definitely not going to happen, just would be a great thing to watch all the chiefs/kstate fans crying saying "fire pioli!  We could've had freeman!"

rundown, please don't meltdown too much, but it looks like that donkey dynasty part deux isn't going to happen:

Report: John Elway's son leaves Arizona State team

ESPN.com is reporting that John Elway's son, Jack Elway, is leaving the Arizona State football team.

Elway, a redshirt freshman quarterback, will remain a student at Arizona State.

Head coach Dennis Erickson told The Arizona Republic on Monday: "He's just tired of football and wants to do something else with his life. He made a decision, and we all understand it. He would have played here eventually."

ESPN.com reported that Elway was in a five-way battle for the starting quarterback spot, and that he didn't play in a recent scrimmage.
