Curious whether anyone has seen them and whether they would recommend it. Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to see them but missed them the last time they were in town. Wondering whether I should go at the first of next month when they're back. :popcorn:

Saw them years ago in Salina.  Its good entertainment whether you have kids or not.  But I think after you've seen them once then you've seen them all you need to.  From what I've seen on TV over the years, the gags are re-used no matter who the players are.

if you think Wayne's World is entertaining then the Globetrotters should blow you away

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Saw them back when they were in town in '01. Definitely should see them if you haven't, but if you've seen it once, you've seen it all.

Make sure it is the Globetrotters. The "Harlem Ambassadors" came to SC a while back and were horrible.

    The very best.
an absolute joy.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Have no idea about todays group, but when I saw them around 1971 in Wichita they had Curly, Meadowlark, Goose, the original and absolutely amazingly talented team.       :nahnah:

Frankin Meadowlark was dropping half court hook shots from the sideline like layups, probably shot like 5 of them and did not miss a one.    :skillz:

I saw this team in Chicago early to mid 70s.  And I think you're thinking of Meadowlark Lemon.

They absolutely killed  away the Generals the night I saw them.

Globetrotters =   :nahnah:
Generals =  :runaway:

Frankin = f*ckin, as in Frank Martin is frankin mad.  Must have been the upper case first letter.   :confused:

Hmm. Well I might have to think about giving up the dream, then. Plus the cheapest tix are $25 which seems steep. I was expecting like $10.

$25 - regular season.  They're $10 if they make the NIT.
