    The very best.
Ian Campbell/DE-LB/Kansas State: Campbell, who did not run or lift at the combine, turned in a poor workout Thursday. He ran in the low 4.9's in the 40 and looked weak on the bench press. The 265-pound Campbell possesses neither the speed to play linebacker nor the strength to hold up at defensive end.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Prince = "head coach" ergo, Prince's fault... say hi to everyone in Cimarron for me Ian. One more reason to hate Prince.

Wouldnt you? I mean at one point the guy was all Big-12 caliber and now he is a 4.9 40 - crapty work out for the combine guy. I would be consuming massive quantities of alcohol.

My point was he doesn't care about being in shape or doing well

The only thing a coach can really ruin is mechanics or technique.

If Ian didn't have the self disciple to hit the weight room hard and train his ass off, that's his fault.  You don't need a coach telling you to improve yourself physically.

Great players make themselves great.

Why would he not run or lift?  He's on the fringe of not even being drafted.  Why would he not do every single work out?
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

I was talking to one of the football players today and found out that prince did not allow the bench press or inclines during workouts, they only used dumbells. He said it has hurt many guys trying to impress scouts for pro day. He was a prince recruit but he hated prince and all the assistants and is all :ksu: now that snyder is back. He also said there is a glory days feel to workouts and just the vibe around the complex is very positive.

If positive vibes could win football games we'd probably go undefeated next season.

*sigh* if only he was at KSU when I was there (1998-2001) the only thing I was witness to was Cooper getting beer dumped into his mouth, whilst standing in his boxers and having girls 2-3 at a time grabbing for the old twig and berries. It was hilarious truth be told.

So he's pretty much like every other non-mormon college student ever?  Good to know.

Go back and take a look at what Darren Howard ran at the combine.  Slower than Ian.  Now Darren is much stronger than Ian,  but dont get hung on the forty.

Well it's a start.  Better to have crappy players feeling good about themselves then crappy players feeling crappy about themselves.  :ohno: can you say suicide watch? :blindfold:

"When Beasley dunked in the second half to make it a 12-point game, that was the loudest moment I’ve ever experienced at a college hoops game - Allen Fieldhouse included.”

Tim Tibesar thought that Ian was a 3-4 DE.

If you put a pair of glasses on a steaming pile of crap, would it be smarter than Tim?  Than Ron?  Tough calls.

I have yet to feel or know someone who has felt any positive vibes about the upcoming football season.  At least nobody who hangs out on this board anyway.
