    All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
I think we win at Louisiana... yes they gave us all we could handle last season but they lost there 2 best players that just tore us apart and I expect our run defense to be better somewhat... I also see us beating CU so right now I say 6-6.

thats absolutely best case

Hawkins hasn't done much IMO, though they will probably be better than us could get an upset

4-8 possible

IMO 5-7 likely with some surprises

6-6 best case

5-7 for me, we should be able to beat CU as well. At Lousiania is winnable but it's an early season road game so I don't like our chances.

Massachusetts (W)
@Louisiana  (W . . . barely)
@UCLA   (W . . . don't ask me why, I don't know really)
Tennessee Tech (W)
Iowa State in KC (W . . . good start and a win in what will amount to the who sucks less bowl)
@Texas Tech (L . . .no way)
Texas A&M  (W)
Colorado (W)
@Oklahoma (L . . . don't kill us Bobby)
Kansas  (L . . . it will be closer than expected)
Missouri  (L)
@Nebraska (L)

7-5, but only 5 D1 wins, so BFD.

2 early. who is our qb??
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I really don't think uL-Lafayette is gonna beat you guys. They're not even a good Sun Belt team. If you were playing Florida Atlantic, you might have a legit worry.

(By the way, who the hell is responsible for making you guys go to f*cking Lafayette?)

Duke is in a BCS conference, Rice was a bowl team and Southern Miss is usually one of the better programs in C-USA. Would I rather Kansas visit better schools? Sure, you'll get no argument from me there. All I'm saying is that KSU or any other Big 12 program besides maybe Baylor or Iowa State should be better than to visit a low-rent Sun Belt school. Not trying to bash on KSU in particular, I'd be saying the same thing if Kansas or Texas Tech went to UL-Monroe, UL-Lafayette, Florida International, or North Texas (now instead of 5-6 years ago b/c they're one of the worst programs in 1-a with Dodge running that school into the ground).

Yeah, I'm aware that Nebraska went to North Texas a few years ago, but North Texas was kicking Sun Belt ass back then, and Oklahoma State/Missouri went to Troy back when they were dominant too. UL-Lafayette hasn't been dominant in football since they were back in the Southland Conference in 1-AA. Krause shouldn't have had to do a home-and-home with them.

My worry, if you can call it that, is that this team will actually have a good year, ie. bowl game.  The fanbase will go crazy, Bill will be exalted and then the 30+ senior/juco class all leaves and next season is a gut punch followed by a kick in the head.

I want a good year, with good wins, but if it does happen, it will be an illusion, due to the imbalanced classes, instead of a sign of improvement.  We won't really know until next year what we have (which, right now, doesn't appear to be much).

5-7

Brag:  I've accurately predicted 5-7 prior to the last two seasons.  Even in '07 when a lot of retards thought we were going to be good.
