    - Little hand says it's time to rock and roll.
Silly meltdown, IMO.  We're going to be below average for the next 2-3 season regardless of who our OC is.  The current staff is stepping into a way franked-up situation, and the ones to blame are: (1) Wefald, (2) Krause, (3) Prince, (4) Weiser.

So far, Snyder hasn't really done anything wrong as far as I can tell.  (Not saying he's the answer -- I've wanted Patterson since 2005.)  Snyder brought in crap recruits, but it was probably better than Prince was on track to do.  Snyder also brought in way better coordinators than we've had in years, and hopefully he'll find another one.

I don't understand all this  :runaway:.  We were kinda screwed yesterday, and today we're only marginally more screwed.  And we're still better off than if Prince was the coach.

Stamp me if you want.

So, in summary, we should have hired Patterson.  We know.  Thanks Hawking.
IT'S PATTERSON!!!!!11!!!111!!1!!!!1!!

'member when Mangino brought his best smoky and mirrory team of all time to bsfs ???  we almost won

Ron was 10-7 with a bowl game and two wins over Top 10 Texas teams before this game.  7-13 and no wins over ranked/winning teams since.

Mangino 16-7, one Top 5 win and two-time bowl champs since.

Major tipping point, bros.

Then ku turned around and lost 5 games the next season . . . and smoke and mirrors had run its course.

Ludwig is a douche and has been looking 2 steps ahead his entire career.  He is only going to do what he thinks best for Andy Ludwig, NFL HC and GM.  I'm sure he realized fairly quickly that OB wasn't going to be as forgiving as his former stops when it came to his narcisistic views.  He comes off as some sort of Offensive mercenary.

I say good riddance.

Face it, we're a basketball school now, and a mediocre one at that.  Frank is the future, Snyder is the past.  Goodness-gracious-gee-willickers I hope I'm wrong about the latter, but this is terrible news to wake up to on a Saturday morning.  Prove me wrong Coach Snyder, I'm begging you. :crybaby:

8-5 vs. 12-2, 12-1, 11-2, 10-4, 9-4, and 8-5 BCS teams is "smoke and mirrors running its course"?

ku went two complete seasons 2007-2008 . . . and played 1 regular season game against a Final Top 25 team.  Not one school since the inception of the Big 12 has played such a weak schedule over the course of TWENTY FOUR games.  :users:

And it get's better.

According to Fitzfracked, Ludwig wanted to "return home" and he and Tedford are real close.  (Of course)

Del Miller will slide in to a Co-OC spot.

And OB is trying to convince Michael Smith to make a return to Manhattan.

And I swear to God I am not making this up.

Lol.  Christ.

Where's that gun blowing off a head emoticon??

I mistyped, I meant 2006 and 2007.

Oh and go tell your phogtard buddies, that you just can't go back redo history and decide that back in the 1990's, ku didn't "emphasize football".  It was at least 8-10 years under Snyder before K-State started spending more money annually on football than ku did.  Just because nobody in the ku constituency cared about football doesn't mean it wasn't "emphasized" . . . damn, how franking dumb are you people??

And I am still waiting on some real facts to prove that K-State athletics is in "dire financial straights" . . . feel free to produce that factual information anytime now.

LOL.  I point out that ku went 8-5 against BCS teams that were 12-2, 12-1, 11-2, 10-4, 9-4, and 8-5 in 2008 and your response is to bring up 2006 and you manage to even f*** that up?

That pretty much proves my point . . . the weak ass, smoke and mirrors scheduling came to an end and ku losses 5 games.

How hard is this??   Congrats on beating an 8-5 mu team I guess, Mangino's first win during the regular season over a Final Top 25 team.  In multiple other games, ku got their ass kicked . . . thus, Smoke and Mirrors runs its course . . . again, it's not that hard.

Plus, still waiting on that credible factual information on K-State athletics being in "dire financial straits".

ku in it's last 14 games . . . 8-6.

ku is 9-5 in its last 14 games, dating back to the win against Va Tech in the BCS Orange Bowl.  Mizzou was 10-4 last season, but of course, you don't really follow football that closely now that your team is an embarrassment.  Just face reality, 'Pad.  ku is leaving K-State's athletic department in the dust, and it's making you really  :curse:

Like, 9 asst. coaches and as of right now, 2 (Vic and Dickie) have not been part of the train wreck that has been ksu football for the past 5 years.  Even dimel was a GA in '05 (after that loser was out of football for a couple of years).

Yeah . . .  a 9-5 in the last 14 is really "leaving us in the dust"

Again, still waiting on those actual things called FACTS that K-State athletics is in "dire financial straits".   BigJkutard and Phogtard.net hypothetical guesses are not FACTS.

The only person who has lost it is you.

Seriously, you just played up being 9 and freaking 5 in the last 14 games as leaving K-State "in the dust".

What else would you expect from a racist enabler ku validator like Bentard though.

Kind of sad.

LOL at daxipad.  If it weren't for angry old coots like you, being a fan of a superior university/athletic program wouldn't be nearly as much fun.  It's like the icing on the cake.  I look forward to the depths you will scrape to in 2009-10.  That should be a real doozy for your ku hatingness.
