can I play W0W on Saul's computer at work?
no, WoW and other programs actually sense you are using a remote connection and deny you access to the game, to play a dvd, etc. This is because it takes a TON of work and pipe to push images at 40 frames per second. I don't know if it is even possible at this point...perhaps when everything is running on fiber.
lol - noob. Do you know how it even works?
LOL this from the guy who just argued it wasn't installed on xp. (never used xp home or any other lesser version of vista, why? then I might as well get a mac if I want an OS that has 'walls')
I didn't say it didn't work on XP. Can you read?
OK, let me get this straight because I think your definition of grossly wrong is pretty liberal.
I stated that you can use rdp on xp (didn't specify variant), you call me out with a toilet saying it is only on vista variants. Go read your own quote.
Now, if you are beefing me because I'm calling it rdp, rather than remote desktop or remote desktop connection then so be it. I understand that rdp is talking about the protocol itself. It is called rdp by generally everyone in IT because we, as humans, are lazy and don't want to speak additional syllables. Sometimes people say, "Oh, are you going to mstsc?!" or "I'm going to remote in." These are fairly common in the computer world and you should know this already. Not everything has to be by the book as long as the other person understands what you are saying and in this case, you clearly did know what I was talking about.
I really don't understand your problem with me. I try to give people the information they are looking for on this board. I might dumb some things down a bit, like my explanation of rdp, but most people aren't looking for the real definition either...they just want something fast and easy to remember.
