I am in an argument, who would you rather have on your team, Colon or DK?

And we both understand that they are complete garbage.

I think Kent responds better to coaching in game, and Colon has grown more through coaching.  Neither of them can string positive plays together.  Colon is more physical and while he can foul out in 5 minutes I've seen Kent foul out the fastest.  I'd say Kent is a smarter player, and colon (gulp) is a better athlete.  Colon has the opportunity to be a better senior.  Maybe for that reason I take Kent so that in a year neither of them are on my team.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

We will always have a few Kents/Colons.  Even with Frank as coach.

I'd take Kent b/c he's a more versatile player.

Kent.

Free throws being the deciding factor.

Colon.

Kent does little except make bonehead plays....as a senior. His free throw shooting makes it a difficult choice though.

    I said throw down, boy!!
Colon never took 4 shots from 3 in the same game.....and missed them all.

I vote for Colon because he knows his limitations.  Kent has better skills.....but not nearly as much as he thinks.

Kent.

The dunk on Mayo is the deciding factor.

How is this even a debate?  Kent can shoot FTs.  Didn't his performance at the stripe save us at Colorado?

Kent is miserable to watch. He has perfected the Rebound-Fall Over-Travel move. Colon will throw a punch, he wins.

I think it's pretty easy...Kent keeps JamSlam on the bench while Colon does the same for Anderson.  And I do give Kent props for his FT shooting, but he's just as capable of losing a game for us as bailing us out.  Also give Kent credit for being a Wildcat and sticking with the program through thick and thin.

Washburn ala our refer smokin' Hayden?

Kent, has had a pretty decent season.  Exceeded expectations as a Wooly leftover.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Colon is a much better player for the team.  Free throws are all Kent does significantly better, and that really isn't all that valuable a skill..  Colon shoots better, shoots less, and turns the ball over a ton less.  Kent's turnovers are mindblowing for a "4".

thx for the positive take. essential in the, "how good will we be next year" argument.

dunno dude. when luis can't hit those point blank shots......

kent is pretty amazing against a weak/small frontline. the guy is huge and pretty quick. scoring wise, that is.

I'm just repeating kenpom.  :dunno:

Kent, shoots more than Sutton and samuels, and twice as much as Ron Anderson.  I mean, c'mon.  His retarded jump shots and turnovers hurt a lot more than Colon's missed layups.  Kent would miss a lot of layups, too, but he doesn't take many.

How about option 3) Jamar Samuels.   If he can stay out of foul trouble he plays better than colon or kent. If not i'd have to go with lou cuz he always looks pissed off and doesn't get pushed around.
