All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
They said while he has given up some runs his "stuff" is looking really good and they called him "ready" so who knows I think he will be fine.

Anyone else get the feeing that trey had no intentions of ever starting ho-ram...he just penciled him that '5' spot knowing he wouldn't need it for awhile so that he could get a longer look at banny and hoch?
Wondering who is running this hot dog stand and seriously considering heading out for tacos.

    Gettin' angried up!!!
yeah, the rangers are trying to win the game as well. idiot fans.

Honestly you could throw Greinke into the Rangers rotation and probably be a lock for the division. I recently had a conversation with Nolan Ryan and let's just say he wouldn't remind you of someone on top of their game (mentally), but if he would be willing to pick up a couple of promising youngsters and a true #1, the Rangers in my mind would be favs for the AL champs.
Lollersquirts!!!

Yeah, all of that was a lie except for the Nolan Ryan part. Greinke is trash and the only team the Rangers can really beat is the KC Whoyalls.

Odd.  Peter Gammons actually said, just yesterday, that Greinke has a legitimate chance to win the Cy Young this year if he continues at his current level.

The comeback was gutsy but this loss was the pitching staff's fault. Yes the offense hit into 6 double plays but they also had 7 runs on 13 hits... I still like what I see form this team.

Do you have any idea how many people could win the Cy Young if they would just pitch for 35 starts the way they do for five games? :flush:

Wow, it's really pissing you off that Greinke is finally realizing some of his true potential, isn't it?  Don't let your hatred of the kid blind you to the fact that even the Baseball Tonight guys are impressed with his stuff.

Why would Greinke's success make me mad? And don't rely on anyone besides Kruk on BBTN. I guarantee if you were to ever meet Steve Phillips, the first thing he would tell you was that he used to be the GM of the Mets. Obviously that worked out well, so yeah he's clearly a great person to be talking about baseball as an 'expert' in the field. :yikes:

You trying to tell me that you know more about baseball than a former major league GM?  You're just making yourself look silly now.  Anyway, it was Buster Olney that made that comment.  You know, the two time Pulitzer Prize nominated sportswriter.  But I'm sure you know more than him as well.

I was pleasantly surprised....His pitches seemed to have a lot of movement on them. Some nights he will be damn good, producing groundballs, other nights people will tee off on him. But i will take it over HoRam anyday.

if it wasn't for crisp and callaspo this team would have like a .098 BA and .5 runs all year.

    Catch it!
Soria has been hurt during the beginning of the season, something in the back of his shoulder and will miss 3 to 5 days. That's why soria has been lightly used.  Maybe people who don't know what's going on behind the scenes should just shut their big yappers

Well since none of us are on the inside to "know" anything, this thread would be VERY boring.

Greinke is a fracking beast. Back to back complete games and he still has an ERA of 0.00.
