I can guarantee you that nobody is spamming from my mac. My PC on the other hand... probably has been spamming since last July with reckless abandon. No I don't pay for anti-virus software, and my computer is too slow to bother messing with it anyway.
The difference being that 'MOST' PC users are smart enough to run virus software, where as 'MOST' MAC users seem to think that no harm can ever come to their computer, virus or otherwise.

You can't get a virus w/o downloading an infected file, email, or visiting a website that tries to get you to install something
