THE KANSAS SERIES
The Sunflower Showdown has been the most heavily contested rivalry in school history and the series history clearly states that fact. The series, which dates back to 1897, is tied at 157-157-1 in 315 games. The Wildcats hold a 90-75-1 advantage at home, while the Jayhawks are 81-62 in games played in Lawrence. However, K-State has dominated the series as of late as the Cats have taken seven straight from the Jayhawks.
