No games from here on out really get us any closer until the regional.Isn't uk like 4th in the conference?Yeah, but we've basically locked up a regional bid at this point. The hard part is winning it. The harder part is winning the super regional. regionals are 16 four team double elimination. and super regionals are 8 two team best of three fwiw. winning the regional would be amazing.

if we finish top 4 in the big 12, do we get a bye in the big 12 tournament? (like bball)

Quote from: fatty fat fat on May 06, 2009, 11:58:47 AMif we finish top 4 in the big 12, do we get a bye in the big 12 tournament? (like bball) No. The top 8 (out of 10) teams make the tournament, and are divided into two groups, and they play round robin style. The winners of each group play in the championship, with an automatic birth in the NCAA Tourny at stake.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_12_Baseball_Tournamenthttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Big_12_Baseball_Tournamenthttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Big_12_Baseball_Tournament

are we a paper tiger? who is OUR coach?
Quote from: pissclams on May 07, 2009, 10:39:09 AMare we a paper tiger? who is OUR coach?Brad Hill is the coach. We've won a record amount of games. If we break even on the rest of the season (should do better) we will have won 40 games. That is outstanding. We've also beaten other top ranked teams multiple times. I think we are actually good.
