I know, but top 25 is when your name gets the bigger letters and not "also receiving votes" heading  :woot:

The Collegiate Baseball poll is a 30 team poll.

4-0 at the end of 1 in the 2nd game . . . $hit call at 2nd kept K-State from adding more.

Need to move hot blonde from right to left on the TV screen, and move the family of "large" people from left to right on the TV screen behind the plate.

Starting pitching had trouble locating the ever moving strike zone.  We got shelled in the 4th and 5th.  Nice to see our bats try and keep us in the game.

Did anyone else really hate that bock call?

oh I forgot the double play in the 5th inning when OU doubled us up.   Clearly was no where near a tag on base or man at second and got called out.  Had one play at first in the 6th I think where we beat the throw and got called out an another when it went foul on a bloop shot to first and was called fair.  The blue on the base jumped, turned his back and still managed to see the ball.

I may be off on the innings but we got jobbed.

Biggest problem was our pitchers not changing their approach.  The ump was calling anything low for OU as a ball, and everything inside as a strike.  We should have moved up and in in the middle of the game but didn't until 7,8 and 9.

I thought it was a dickhead call. I also thought the check swing that the first base ump called a strike on us was a dickhead call.

I'm sitting on the 1st base side tomorrow just in case the same guy is there again.

Better move behind home plate as that's where yesterdays 1st base goof will be working today. Hopefully he won't wear his sunglasses today.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I dont understand games like this.  I know after you get blown up in the first their isnt much sense in killing your bullpen.  OU didn't let it happen to them yesterday.  Their coach was willing to pull their starter after a 1/3, we never make a move to save the game.

Ahead by 10 after 7 . . . they can impose the run rule.   I don't know all the particulars, but I think the Big 12 enforces that on "get away" day at least.

Hill led teams and any type of even marginal pressure do not do well together.

Good news for Brad is, the baseball coaching spot is appointed for life at KSU.  You can't be fired.  No expectations or requirements.   Show up, don't sit in anything in the dugout so that when you walk out to tell your 5th pitcher of the day to stop walking the #9 hitter it looks like you crap yourself and have a few big but ultimately meaningless wins a year and you will never, ever be questioned.  Clark was Asbury before Asbury but no one cared because he was a nice guy and would like, drag the field himself and stuff.

I know . . . and the sad thing is Hill has been given pretty much new everything, I can't think of one thing that KSU baseball uses that hasn't been built or totally renovated in the last 5 years.

Yet, they still can't ever seem to do anything.

11 Home Runs for OU on our home field, it was like our pitching staff didn't have the first clue how to pitch them with the wind blowing out as it was.

What pissed me off the most about this series was the pitching.  No just the number of pitches for hits but the fact no adjustments were made to the strike zone all weekend.  The umps clearly had no interest in calling outside and high and low strikes.  In fact every pitched that went inside seemed like a strike.  Yet we continued to pitch into the dirt.  Terrible job by our pitching coach and not see a basic part of the strike zone.

You misunderstand me, I blame the umps for crap bock calls and blown calls at first.  I blame our pitching coach for not telling our guys to get it out of the dirt and put it inside where everything was a strike.
