Considering this is one of the larger threads in this part of the board... and it's only around 1/4 through the season now... Yeah I'd say this thread will be so large that we should just go ahead and make a baseball page...

seriously, why are we wasting the good half of our title nine money on this garbage?

WTF thats the problem why we've haven't gone above the peak. Because its fans like you that could care less. You know the baseball team before the Brad Hill era was just like the football program before the LSnyder era. People wondered the same thing for football. Its hard to get recruits to Manhattan especially kids from Texas California Florida etc. So take that into consideration.  :thumbsup:
Why is it that every time we hire a new coach for any sports program at K-State the tards automatically say something stupid like "he's doing what Snyder did, it just takes time."?

speaking of ksu baseball...i talked w/ mike clark at the isu bball game this year. he moved seats at halftime because that's what he did at the texas game this year and the katz won so he was going to do the same thing at the isu game. he moved from behind the bench to like super far away.

it's also worth noting that baseball gives away more free t-shirts than any other katz sport. They give them away for every tuesday game, and if you're a student you get a shirt for attending 5 games (batcats club). EMAW is just ooozing from Tointon.

not sure wtf happened to this thread.


Great game today by the cats winning 5-4.

UTSA's all american got run in the 9th inning when he ran his mouth about 2 inside strikes.  Radio said, I didnt catch it, that he drew a line in the dirt for the ball path.  The ump did not take kindly to the suggestion that the ball was too far inside and tossed with with 2 strike and one ball, 1 out I believe.

Little more to the story, the UTSA manager guy when berserk on  Rockett after he got run. All I heard at the end of the rant was "you stay in the game!"  And that was from deep in the dugout to me on the home plate side of our dugout (on the metal benches).

Great win tonight for the Cats.  9-1.  OU finally scored in the top of the 9th with 1 out.  Our starting pitcher was nasty, AJ Morris.  I believe he had only 4 hits through 8.  Took him out for the 9th with our freshman closer to finish the job. The 7th and especially the 8th inning destroyed the OU bullpen.  In the 8th inning it got to the point where they pulled their right fielder. 

Quick hits:
Starting pitching = amazing, I think he is 6-1

Defense was great

OU's SS was glue, anything near him was pulled in.

Hitting was great, opened it up in the 5th I believe.
