Gottlieb didn't have B Easy on his list of top 20 freshman to watch.

What a joke.

Just curious.  Before you post here, do you put away an 8 ball . . . or two??

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

08-09 ksu was "dead in the water" as soon as walker declared.  ridiculous it took gottlieb till now to find the balls to say so.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

i think he was talking about your program.  ksu athletics is not big 12 caliber.  please leave with isu and cu so we can get arkansas and two other teams better than you 3.

    Check me out!
dead in the water as:

- having a chance to compete in the big 12?

or

- as in they need to hire a new coach?

what was the context?

Yes, I'm sure agreeing to someone asking a simple question with "yes" as a blanket statement to all of KSU sports programs and how we should leave the conference.  That is how I interpret the word "yes" also.

Petro: "Is K-State dead in the water?"

Gottlieb's reply: "Yes."

OUCH

So, what's the definition of "dead in the water"?

We aren't going to make the NCAA?
We aren't going to make the NIT?

My hope from day one was the latter, but, honestly, this is a transition year. We have only 9 scholarship players. Our core is still fairly young. Next year will look different.

Bingo! How many times do I have to tell you people not to take anything you get from the Soren Petro Comedy Show seriously? Especially stuff from a college basketball "analyst" who was kicked out of Notre Dame for credit card fraud and once played in a game with his shorts on backwards. Obviously he's not the brightest bulb in the drawer.

So, we should all be upset about what an Okie State grad said on a turds radio show about KSU?   :ohno:  And this info came from a ku fan on a K-State message board?   :ohno:  I don't follow?

When he was at Notre Dame he was kicked out of school for stealing a student's credit card and charging over $900 worth of stuff to them
