Here you go Pioli, it couldn't get any easier than this.  Bring him to the Chiefs!

I'm fine if he stays for one more year.  There's going to be a lot to choose from next year.

No it doesn't make sense if he stays... think about it. You hold on to herm 1 more season, he turns out to lose around 10-11 games again next season even with more talent on the roster (assuming Pioli does go out and spend). You just wasted 1 season of your rebuilding on a coach that you knew you were giving 1 more shot to. Herm may not be a bad coach but right now it is just too much of a risk to keep him I think instead of starting over right away...

On a side note I saw that Julius Peppers is not going to sign back with the carolina panters... can anyone say with our large cap space that there is a good chance he could be a chief?!

Juluis Pepers, yea, I think the chiefs could find a spot on the d-line for him.  It would be tough he'd have to beat out Jason Babin!  Peppers

What did the 810 guys say if that happens?? First time in NFL post merger history a 2 win coach has been retained??

Steve Spagnuolo was just named Rams head coach. Possible candidates for this year are dropping like flies.

No amount of statistics baffle me when it comes to Herm's coaching career. What really sucks is all the talking heads out there see Herm as a proven coach. I can't see how, he hasn't done a damn thing.

He speaks eloquently though. I guess.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Yep, you're right. . . and there's no way the chiefs can retain this guy and expect to gain traction in the credibility department.  He might do well in a specific situation, but that situation is not KC.
