Well Rusty, please explain what K-State does on the offensive end of the court . . . can anyone actually describe that without pulling out some Dana Altman at K-State game film??
Oh, and I meant Witherspoon (sp??) or KK, don't know where I got Sessions.
We are trying to run a ball screen offense for Clemente/Pullen and when that doesn't work we go to a sort of motion. I'm not going to disagree with the fact that Frank is not a genius when it comes to halfcourt offense, but then again I don't expect him to be. I'm much more ticked that he hasn't found ways to get this team into more transition opportunities, but then again when you don't play defense and the other team makes nearly 60% of their shots, that's hard to do.
Clearly, Frank is a primary contributor to an aweful 30 minute stretch (or) so of basketball that we saw across the last two ball games, but I don't think the players have been real great at executing the gameplan either. I thought Frank made some nice adjustments last night, unfortunately it was after the thing was nearly already over. And the inability to adjust to OU's half court trap was pretty poor for all parties involved. But to me this isn't the time to get real upset; if we go to Lincoln and have some of the same issues against a team that is much more equal to us in talent, then I'll probably have something more to say. Right now, not really.
